      The Euphoria of Stablising!?

I know there are at least a jillion threads in this forum screaming 'WOWOW FIRST LUCID LISTEN 2 MY GENERIC EXPERIENCE', but I never realised how euphoric stablising was, and wondered if it was the same for everyone else?

I had my 3rd lucid the other night, which, though still rather brief, was the first time I had remembered to stablise. I rubbed my hands together, before rubbing them on a nearby cupboard from my room, and in addition to being amazed at the accuracy of the textures, words can't describe the ecstasy I felt from doing so! It felt so good that I just stood there, head back, eyes closed, rubbing a cupboard!

It's not too disimilar to the first time I realised I was having a lucid dream, in which the euphoria was intense enough to wake me up, so does that mean this feeling will eventually fade?

No, it does not have to fade. LDing can cause amazing sensations, much like narcotics or hallucinagens.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.

That feeling might never really go away. I still am awed sometimes by how amazing dreams are. You will learn how to not wake up from it though with practice.

Yeah, I flew in pretty much every one of my lucids and it still totally surprises me each time, how much pleasure I get out of it. And today I was flying to the Moon (never made it) and these beautiful bright orbs flew by me at high speed and it totally literally made me double gasp and took my breath away. Except first few realizations, this was the most impressive moment for me. Since this morning, I'm just giggling all day long when I think about the flight. I hope this feeling in lucids will never fade.

Yep! It's really amazing how our minds can simulate real life!

Sometimes when I get lucid, and I mean REALLY lucid, I try to pay attention to the small details, and it really astounds me how real they are.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Ah thanks guys that's really reassuring! I'm glad it'll continue like this, I think I've finally caught the bug and now I'm itching for more!
