      Any tips for DEILD?

Welp, I'm going to try DEILD for the next week or two, any tips? Also, if anyone has any apps for free and available for iPod Touch that has an automatic alarm that goes off by itself, that would be much appreciated!

Check out this guide by Dutchraptor, it's an excellent guide, and has given me success. Also when you get the chance, there is some good advice in some of the comments.
      Here's the link.
Best of luck to you. After you've done it for awhile, if you would, post your results so we know how it worked for you.
Also, don't hesitate to ask questions, any of us will be glad to help.

Alright, will do! Do you know any apps that will work for iPod Touch though, alarm wise?

Yeah they should be in the guide under iPhone apps, they should work for iPod touch too since they're both basically the same thing.
I don't use an alarm though, I find it easier to wake up naturally, rather than trying an alarm.

The one that I found works for me is Alarmed. It is the only free one that does what you need for the short DEILD awakening

The best chance you have for DEILD comes when you naturally awake from a dream. It just takes practice to not allow yourself to truely wake or move. Start with just being aware every time you wake as to if you were just dreaming, or not. If you get good at instantly deciding if you just awoke from a dream, then you know when to try to DEILD. Randomly waking to an alarm is less likely to be timed exactly in a prime REM state, but does not hurt.

Alright, thanks for the suggestion Draco! I'll try it, the one I used last night didn't really work. I really wish I could teach myself to wake up naturally, but my sleeping schedule is so... well, diverse I suppose.
