Secret Diary of a Lucid Learner

After yesterday's experience, which prompted me to find this site, I'm off to bed after a night shift, to try out the advice i have been given, fingers crossed, I'll let you know.

      good luck
Come on, try, give your command
Then you'll see and understand that my heart's no longer here
To be swayed by even tears.
If I were to move again, everything would be in vain
Every aspect of my life would descend into the dark

Hey, hey, hey! Take a deep breath and relax. Getting lucid isn't guaranteed even if you're taking supplements. It's a bit random in the beginning and especially if you've just started practicing you'll have to endure alot of failed attempts. You'll get it right one day though, so make sure you stick to the techniques and keep your hopes up. Why not turn this thread into a daily thing? I'd write down my adventure in my DJ, but if you want I can change the name of this thread to something else.

      Keep on dreaming!

Sorry, just re-read my last comment, it appears sarcastic, (it isn't), please change the title as suggested, and thanks

Failed again, 2 anxiety dreams without realisation that I was in a dream, I'm wondering if re-creating the circumstances that led to my original lucid dream would help, its my final night shift of the week tonight so its my last chance to do so for three weeks, any advice would be welcome

Failed again, 2 more anxiety dreams (about work again, I need to get out more), had no control of them or any realisation that they were dreams, maybe Monday was my peak moment.

      Good luck!

Just stick to one technique, and keep practicing it. Getting lucid takes more than just a few attempts. You have to stay dedicated to one technique for a month, 2 months, or even more. Just don't give up on it! It takes time and practice, but in the end...it's worth it.
