Well, what is WILD? Laying in bed trying to fall asleep. |
|
Hello everyone, last night I woke up about 5 hours into sleep for a meteor shower. The shower was a total failure, so I went to bed around 10 minutes later. Before I crawled in bed, I decided I would go on DV and read around for a bit, remembering what I've read about the WBTB technique. When I decided it was time for me to sleep, I tried a MILD. During the visualization stage, I was hit with horrible vibrations. I was calm at first, but the vibrations began to scare me, and I jolted awake. I was so shocked that I did not get to sleep for about another hour. When I woke up this morning, I only remembered a few fragments of the dream I had, and it was most certainly not lucid. I'm still confused as to why I got the vibrations when I wasn't attempting a WILD, does anyone have any answers? |

Wow, I really wish I could have been better prepared for that. I'm so bummed that I missed a chance for a lucid.. I'll go educate myself so next time this happens I won't miss the opportunity. Thanks for letting me know |

Here is a great WILD (sageous) tutorial. Don't worry, there will be more opportunities like this one. Get up for WBTB like you did for meteor shower. BTW, I got up around 4am for same reason, but was totally cloudy. Too bad, really wanted to see the shower. |

I found that tutorial, and have been reading it. I can't wait for another opportunity like the one I missed. Also, the shower was pretty lame. I didn't see any meteors. My dad, who was up about an hour before me, didn't see any either, even though we had a clear sky. Maybe next time! |

It can be closer than you think. Drink some water before bed and then every time you get up for a bathroom. I get vibrations sometimes when I do that, or when I wake up to just change sleeping position. Just be aware that it happens and you should start noticing it more often. |

Zach, CLICK HERE. It's very easy and might help you have your first lucid dream! |
