      Kinda scared o-o

Okay so I always refrained from reading those " dangers of lucid dreaming " posts but one day I decided why not and it said something about lucid dreaming being a doorway between the real world and the paranormal world or something , and spirits or something are going through the doorway and now these peoples houses are hunted o_o I know it sounds ridiculous but maybe it is true ??? and I don't want to get myself into alot of stuff just because I wanted to control my dreams so what do you guys think ?

I am religious but I dont really care for the whole paranormal world thing. During LD or WILD attempts I have seen some terrifying things but I have no proof that they were real and not simply hallucinations. When I'm going into SP I see/hear things, usually satan demons of some sort. But i always tell myself I am in control and that they are in my head since I'm dreaming somewhat. If all fails I pray and I feel better haha. But don't worry, even if it is some kind of gateway I'm sure you cannot be harmed y what you see.

All of those 'dangers' are definitely false, there's nothing dangerous about lucid dreaming as far as i know.

The only difference between a dream and lucid dream is your awareness. You do the same thing every night wheather you are aware of it or not, and you have beein doing it since your first dream as a newborn. I don't think that our being avare of our dreams makes any difference or introduces any dangers.

Even if you not religous, you can say a prayer/ask universe/creator/your higher self for protection. Something simple as "I'm protected by light" will ease your mind.

Lucid dreaming is in no way dangerous, it does not involve witchcraft, it does not involve ghosts and it does not involve demons. The idea that lucid dreaming is somehow dangerous is completely unfounded and most of the people making those claims are usually misinformed or paranoid.
I'm sorry if I offended anyone or if I come off aggressive but I am sick of people making up lies and falsehoods about lucid dreaming. They are dreams in which you are aware that you are dreaming. That's it.
Most, if not all, people have probably lucid dreamed dozens of times in their lives, they just forgot they did so because their dream recall is usually very poor.
It's these kind of absurd assertions that has forced lucid dreaming to stay in the laboratory and in the minds of those who actually understand it.
People fear what they don't understand, and most people don't understand lucid dreaming.

Okay so I been living in a hole for a few years so what, lucid dreaming is now dangerous? I had quite a bit of experience with lucid dreaming and was never damaged by it. I actually think it can do a lot of good but I'm not in clinical psych so can't really test that. I guess if you believe in ghosts and what not, something that seems as paranormal as lucid dreaming might turn you off, especially when lucid dreaming is often put in the same category as "parapsychology" but it is actually quite scientific really (LaBerge wrote a few article sin which he demonstrated that LDing can happen which were pretty interesting studies). Sometimes dreams can be scary but the scariest dreams as the usually the non-lucid ones. Also I have never heard of your house being haunted because you lucid dream and I really don't think that's the case... But do whatever your comfortable with.

I've been lucid dreaming for a long time as well as many other people I know. Nothing bad/dangerous has every happened because of it! In fact, quite the opposite!

Have they had people who have experienced such things from a lucid dream? If so, how could they tell the experiences are because of the lucid dreams? And if they do not know people who have had such experiences, then how could they tell that such a thing happens to people?

I would not believe this without proof.

There is no proof that says anything about this but I trully believe that when you become aware you actually are in another realm
