I actually had the same exact question. Hopefully we can get some help with this. |

I already know many good techniques for reality checking, so I don't need advice on that. I'm just not sure if I should be doing them after/during specific events such as walking into a room, or if I can just be doing them at random whenever it comes to mind. |

Lucid Dream Goals: Have a fully LD [ ] Fly [ ] Dream Sex [ ] Turn Gravity Sideways [ ] Drive the luxurious car of my minds creation [ ] Fly a plane [ ] Have a long conversation with a DC [ ]
Well, you should be doing them as often as possible, because every time you RC, you raise awareness, since you are checking your state (dream or reality). That is why ADA is a powerful technique, it is an all day long RC. Always knowing what state you are in, always aware. |

All good information, and I thank you for sharing it with me. I also would like to thank you for mentioning that RCs should not just be the hand motions, but the realization that it is probably reality. I have not been doing RCs for very long and I have already got in the habit of just doing the hand motions. |
|
Yeah, that is why I like RCs that aren't just motions, because that can get into a bad habit. That is just me though. Glad I could be of assistance. |

Thanks gab, that helped answer my question even more |

To your question, I would say "Both." |
