I remember when i was going to have my 100th that i was going to write down, so before going to sleep i kept thinking about "oh man i just HAVE to get a lucid dream " etc. So that night i had probably two of the longest and vivid full LDs iv had and two FAs. I almost literally forced my self to have LD so i got it really well. Has this ever happened to you? Could it actually work(or be smart?) to force your self noticing you're dreaming? Opinions. |

It never works for me neither, or atleast when i tried it for some time. I should try it again this night. I just wanted the 100th written dream to be something SPECIAL , maybe thats why i achieved lucidity |

Ok, I am at about 110. I notice I have about 1 LD a week. After 7 days I'm thinking "I am due to have one now. I REALLY need to have one!". So I agree with your premise... it does seem to work. But, I cant seem to get that focused intent daily. Not sure if it is me or a natural cycle. |
|
What you did is you set your intent. You didn't wish for it, you KNEW you gonna have LD. Sometimes it works. Just don't push it too much. |

Congrats! |

Every time my mom says something like; "If you don't get up good tomorrow on your own then you're going to get in trouble!!!!" I have a lucid dream that night and wake up on my own at the exact time. |
|
I did exactly this and it does work, maybe not every time. But I think if you just keep beliving in it no matter if you have a lucid dream that night or not. |

sometimes, specially when practicing ADA, i get a gut feeling, like strong confidence or premonition, that i will have a LD. itīs not an intention, i just know it will happen. |

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way
Im trying to achieve that feeling for every night for about one month now. I started a new "chapter"[24.3-1.5] on my real life dream journal and im attending to make that chapter one of the best so far. |

usually that feeling pops up when i imagine i am lucid dreaming during the day and pay close attention to my surroundings. but it only happens when i am doing it regularly and really enjoying it. now, my main confidence comes from my WILD attempts ( which i use only as a DILD booster, giving me LDs everynight i try so far ) |
