      Is This Normal?

Just starting to get into lucid dreaming, and started to realise when I'm dreaming.
      But,

I can't control anything very well, it seems when I do something it takes like 10 seconds to happen.
Also when I realise I'm in a dream I get transported into my bedroom and am laying on my bed.
And when I'm lucid it don't like it, and I just want to wake myself up.

Is this normal? Will this stuff start to wear off once I'm lding more?

Well, if you always wake up on your bed, before you go to sleep try and imagine where you want that place to be.

As far as controlling, yes it will improve later (so I've heard, I'm relatively new, but I've had a couple lucid dreams). For me, all I have to do is remember that this is my mind, and just think of whatever you'd like to make/transform/go/do/whatever.

I'm not sure about wanting to wake myself up, for me I love dreaming, but if you don't want to wake yourself up when your in it, I dunno. I haven't experienced that.

      Sweet dreams.

Yeah, control will improve. Also, if you try to teleport somewhere else from your bed it works... for waking up, shout WAKE UP!, shut your eyes, then reopen them hard. You'll either have a FA like me, in which case try again, or wake up instantly.

      Examples:
Control: In my first lucids, i always crashed when i flew, or just didn't fly. I fixed by thinking i had a jetpack, and so far i can fly as long as i think that. Also, try thinking "I am the best at this, i can control anything".

FA (False awakening, aka waking up in your bed while still dreaming): Get up and look around at your mind's attempt to break lucidity. The vividness and the perfect detail are confusing, but RC to snap out.

      Agreed with the rest

Control will definitely improve. Basically it's like yourself trying to get familiar with your dream world. At first everything's kinda funky and you'll most probably get lost or confused or feel helpless a lot. But the more you get lucid and try things, the more you will understand how things work specifically for you in your dream world.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
