I've never induced a lucid dream through mediation before, I've fallen asleep while meditating, but I usually have normal dreams. I meditate on a daily basis, and I know what you mean by eye twitching. It can be distracting, but the idea of meditation is to completely clear your mind of any and all things in order to obtain complete relaxation and bring your mind to a state where you can convince your subconscious to help you obtain your goals, like losing weight for example. Not to mention through meditation you can reach other planes of existence and do other things like clear your chakras. The way you know you have successfully put yourself in a meditative state is if there is a noise in the real world but you don't hear it because you have closed your mind off to everything. I've brought myself back to the real world to find my TV was turned on and I had no idea because I didn't let myself hear it. It takes lots practice, but once done not even eye twitching will distract you. Just practice, practice, practice |
