Before I go, I did get very close to entering a lucid with this, I felt my hearing slowly fade and my body feel much lighter, and it felt like I was 'transported' to somewhere else. But... I got a bit too excited and opened my eyes too early, which ruined the whole attempt.
That wasn't entering a lucid dream, that is the goal of meditating. Once you have successfully meditated you will feel as if you are somewhere else completely. It's in this place that you work on changing yourself. It can be very exciting I remember how excited I was when it first happened to me, but I channeled my excitement into the meditation state and not my physical state so I didn't lose it. I think the idea of lucid dreaming by meditation is more along the lines of convincing you're subconscious to be more open to lucid dreams instead of trying to enter a lucid dream while meditating. It's just like what realdealmagic is saying

you can't dream through meditation. You can only dream through sleep. If you "dream" during meditation, you are allowing your mind to wander which is opposite of the point of meditation.
Keep trying to make your mind more open to lucid dreaming through meditation though, it can help you a lot.
