I know how it feels, you can forget about lucid dreaming for a while then the urge hits you again.
So if you've been away for a year quite a lot has happened since this time last year, seems like 2013 has been quite a special one.

Off the top of my head, two of the most exciting things, well at least for me , have been the news that there is going to be a TV show about lucid dreaming called Anamnesis which looks like it'll be really cool, it'll probably cause a surge on the forums too. There's, finally, another good book on lucid dreaming other than just the obvious 'Exploring the World of Lucid Dreams' by Stephen LaBerge, the new one is called 'Are You Dreaming?' by Daniel Love, I wrote a review on it here at DV which you can find if you want to read it *hint*hint* but if you want the short version of the review it is: it's awesome, all lucid dreamers should read it.

Other things that have happened the Remee came, went and didn't make the big splash everyone hoped it would. No surprises there

On the forums, I can't say quite what's changed as I'm new to DV myself, but I've been lucid dreaming for years and years. From what I've read ADA seems to be popular these days, which is a surprise for me as back in the day on older forums ADA used to just be part of what lucid dreamers did and no one ever thought there should be a name for it. Still, if you'd not heard of it ADA is basically 'all day awareness', so yeah, the clue is in the name.

There seems to be loads of little things happening out there too, I've noticed other people making new dream masks and apps and stuff. One i liked was called dreamcatcher, just to record your dreams but it's pretty cool

So yeah, exciting times so you chose a great time to get back into it

That's all I can think off from the top of my head. Did I miss anything anyone?

Here's a few links for you so you can swat up...

Thanks for all that, I haven't been away for a year though- about 4 months I think? I remember the anticipation of the Remee and then the disappointment following it.. I have the money to buy one now, but I'm not really interested anymore.
Recording dreams on the other hand... that's some sci fi stuff. I can see many people, not just lucid dreamers, buying it for a novelty- it would really have a big impact!
