I'm new to the dream views community but not new to lucid dreaming. been having lucid dreams for a few years anyways I have a few questions since the search engine on this site isn't the best. Do these supplements really work, i know they do but I naturally get lucid dreams once a week should I start taking them? Also when i started lucid dreaming I would realize I was in a dream and be so happy and take over my words actions and reality totally. I can always fly or have 5 story leaps and teleport to different places if im uncomfortable in a situation or just cause I can. Anyways now a days I get into the lucid dream and its not like omg im dreaming, im just fully aware and way too passive about it. I just skip that epiphany and realize for less than a second and just take over the whole thing for hours. Before it used to be like no way this is real life im dreaming and now its like ahhh whats on the agenda for today when the lucidity begins. Is this normal? But most importantly should i mess my with natural flow of efforless lucid dreaming(do have a journal though) in order to take it to the next level. Thanks for reading! |

thanks i appreciate your input! Well ive taken melatonin and the dreams get way too vivid and sometimes take a turn into nightmares, which i kinda like oddly. Nightmares are like the rain and clouds of dreaming in my opinion. I suppose it would be the equivalent for a bodybuilder taking it to the next level by going from natural to steroids in theory. Maybe I could have them more often and perhaps manipulate the actions of others. Like, I can take a drug in a dream(usually not lucid but sometimes it is) and the whole dream i'll just hallucinate, these dreams dont last that long. I guess I just want to know what possible. Literally its another life, I go on cruises, vacations and meet celebs and date the girl of my dreams in my lucid dreams. I mean I tend to have sex in all my dreams, since i think about it all the time. What if theres a level of dreaming where you become magneto or something. I dont know im just thinking out loud cause the few people I talk to about lucid dreams never had them so I've really heard other peoples thoughts and experiences, though i will read alot more on this forum. |

Before you start taking anything, read around, as you say. Check out the Dream control subforum. It may have some good ideas for you what to do in a LD. Here too |

This happens. In my lucid dreams I used to get really excited too, but this last time I was just like, "Oh, look, I'm in a dream. That's surprising" (and it really was. I hadn't intended for my reality check to work). It's a natural sort of thing. Once you do something often enough, you won't become as excited about it. |

~ until the very end
thanks guys after looking around this forum more i realized that everyone uses supplements and drugs(not necessary a bad thing, i could care less whether people do drugs in general) in order to get vivid and lucid dream and I dont have to do that at all. I've developed a dream safe house and met up with people that ive seen multiple times in dreams and they still remember the things i told them its very peculiar. I'm just going to keep doing what ive been doing and and spice it up a bit. I really appreciate the feedback, seriously. |
