Thumbs up A problem in lucid dreams that i have

So last night, i had about 4 dreams, and 3 were lucid. That's not the problem though. The problem is, that every time i lucid dream,
i can never remember the things i wanted to do. I get too drawn to what is going on, the environment, and things like that. I remembered like, one thing i wanted to do and did it. (Shooting a fireball out of my hand). Is there any way i can be more calm in lucid dreams? i know the stabilization techniques (eg; Rubbing hands, focusing on an object, etc), but are they supposed to stabilize as well as calm you down?

I have numerous things i want to try. Get better with flying, have more sexual experiences (who doesn't), Use magic based things, and many more. I haven't even killed anyone yet. I also woke up with a nosebleed last night lol.

Just do what you think is fun at the moment. You're in a time limited environment with unlimited possibilities, of course you'r going to have trouble remembering what you were gonna do.

EDIT: Or you could try to control your "subconscious" thoughts

You could try and convert one or two of the things you want to do and turn them into a mantra.

It may help to try and reherse the LD before going to bed. Replay the scene before you fall asleep, and keep your focus on the scenario.

Yep, I agree with this. that is how it is done. Repeat over and over in your head what you want to do next, then daydream rehearse the thing in your mind's eye.

Hmm so you're not FULLY in a state of awakeness then, if you can't remember things you remember while you're awake? I thought when you're awake in a dream and you're lucid, you remember things and you're aware of yourself and everything about you.

No. When you first learn lucid dreaming, you have a serious problem thinking. It feels like being really drunk or something. Even with years of practice the amount of clear thought varies from dream to dream.

During dream, your daytime memory is shut down. You need to practice to be able to remember things from your daylife in your dream.

Don't be shy. Close your doors and windows, stand in the middle of your room and act out what you would like to do in your dream. Speak out loud, or even yell and sing. You wanna use a sword, then practice swings. You wanna karate-chop somebody, do that. Keep telling yourself what you doing out loud. Imagine yourself getting lucid and doing what you practicing. If you want to practice stabilization, touch your hands, feel your arms, legs, bend down and feel the ground, say out loud "clarity now", look at your legs, look at your arms, touch the nearby wall... Then go on an shoot some fireballs.

And yes, mantras can do wonders. Especially if you are WILDing. Sometimes I notice I'm already in a LD and I can hear myself saying my mantra. That reminds me of what i wanted to do. For example, I wanted to just take it easy, not to rush out the first window to go flying. My mantra was "slow down, look around".
