Extremely violent vibrations. Anyone else experienced this?

I like to try to stay alert as long as I possibly can at night while lying in bed, if for no other reason than to check out the HI, and/or visions that eventually start showing up once the colorful HI subsides. I was doing this couple of nights ago, when at some point just before I dozed off, I experienced the most violent vibrations I have ever felt. Now I'm fully aware of the electrical-impulse type vibrations that one gets just before an O.B.E., since this is something that has happened to me involuntarily many times since I was a kid. But this time was different. I was was in one of those weird states, where I was able to look around and see everything in my room while my eyes were shut. You know, the whole transparent eyelids thing. Anyway, I happened to be looking at my digital alarm clock across the room, with all the usual annoying, buzzy electric fence type vibrations present. My 'vision' started "bouncing" for lack of a better word, kind of like it does when someone is bouncing you on their knee when you were a kid. Well, this bouncing very quickly developed into an all-out ass whipping sort of feeling, and was so violent that I couldn't see anything at all anymore because of all the up/down motion. It sort of felt like someone had hold of my shoulders and was shaking the shit out of me. It wasn't painful or anything, but did get very uncomfortable. I'm not really sure what transpired next, because the next thing I remember was waking up in the morning, having slept through about 30 minutes worth of blaring alarm clocks. This is the first time that I remember being shaken about this violently, and was just curious whether anyone else had experienced this sort of thing.

      Thanks.

I never have felt though that its too uncomfortable. Usually its more of a message kind of feeling. Dont worry ur not alone with the vibrations lol

XD this describes it perfectly. it's like you are on a rollercoaster that is going wild. my body physically jerks because of this and usually snaps me out of it, but i've learned that you can sort of control the jerks with willpower and not giving into the fear.

It's a lovely feeling....something different from the boring norm.

Couple months ago when I was trying WILD during naps I used to feel something similar.
It was like someone was grabbing and shaking my foot so violently that was impossible to ignore.
I was not scared. Just pissed because it jolted me completly awake.

I do get frequent vibrations. They are mostly mild to very mild, but I have had some quite strong ones as well.

When you saw your room through closed eyelids, did you try to get up? IMO, you were already in a lucid dream at that point. Happy dreams

To be honest, I don't really remember what I did at that point. The sensation of being shaken like a ragdoll captured my attention for long enough that I guess I forgot what I was doing and either fell asleep, or projected/went into a dream and just don't remember it. I slept way late the next morning, and it took over 30 minutes of my annoying alarm clock beeping to wake me up.
