Thread: Getting better at things while lucid

You actually can use LDs to better yourself at abilities.

I've heard several stories of people who've practiced something in a dream and gotten better. LD practice is still practice.

It's a good idea. I imagine the mental aspect of the practice would benefit more than the physical aspect though, since dreams whether lucid or not can be a bit whacky. To use your example of playing piano, you could probably hit any key and make the right sound, or hit the right key and make the wrong sound. That's just my theory though and it wouldn't hurt to try.

If you already have some knowledge of how to do something, then you can practice it in your lucids. Like playing piano. If you already know all the notes for a piece, then you can practice it over and over. Good luck

Tried playing piano once in a lucid dream and i could play perfectly the hardest songs but i cant even play piano in real life. For some reason no matter what kind of music you try to make in lucid dream it sounds awesome.

This is why lucidity is beautiful...
I've yet to have a very clear lucid dream where I can control everything.
