It`s possible to forget that you tried wild?

Hi! I get the most of my lucid dreams trough WILD, its kind of my favourithe technique. So my brother told me something pretty interesting. He said that he entered in my room in the night to look for his phone because he had to wake up in the morning and used the phone for alarm. He said that he saw me in my WILD sleeping position (sleeping on the back, the head ''pushing'' into the pillow so it touches my ears. I never sleep on my back, I use it just for WILD, everytime I sleep on a side) and I was counting. (This is what I do when I try wild, I count untill I get relaxed). He thought that it was kind of funny and stayed to see what happen next. Very soon I stopped counting and started smiling, and he said that I didnt moved from then on. But I in the morning I didnt remebered that I tryied WILD or have an LD. He does not know my WILD habits so he could not make it up. It is possible to try WILD and forget that you even did it? I know that you can forget your LD but when I try WILD I move pretty much because I have to set up my pillow in the position I use for WILD so I should`ve been remeber if I woke up in the night and moved a bit.

It sounds like you drifted off into normal sleep. Do you normally experience any HH(Hypnagogic halucinations) while WILDing?

I agree you probably fell asleep, but it's also possible (though on a slim chance) you legitimately did WILD, had an LD, and forgot all of it. This usually happens when you're not highly conscious when you wake up (very sleepy), and because of this low level of consciousness you end up forgetting later what you were doing then.

I have done this before, and I do agree, that you (And I) drifted into normal sleep.

As WILD is just about entering the dream already conscious, it's very possible that you just feel into normal sleep and forgot all about it.

Yes, there is a chance that you forgot what happened when you woke up to do WILD because you where very sleepy. I am worse. I set the alarm, put it far away, and sometimes(10%ish) I wake up in the morning forgetting anything that happened. So, I do WBTB with the alarm far away so I have to stand up to turn it off, and I end up forgetting it ever happened.

I fill my heart with fire, with passion, passion for what makes me nostalgic. A unique perspective fuels my fire, makes me discover new passions, more nostalgia. I love it.
