THINK LUCAS THE TASK WHAT IS THE TASK!?" and then I speak to my DCs in English and they reply in English too.

Does anybody else go through this as well? I think it's so interesting that "lucid dreaming = English" to me.
I think you are raising an important point, LucasPotter: In dreams, spoken language does not matter.

If you spoke six languages, I wouldn't be surprised if they all showed up now and then, and likely in a similar symbolic context as your LD'ing in English because DV is in English (which seems a good guess to me as well, BTW). Unlike communication in waking-life, language -- even when in your own thoughts -- runs secondary to direct metaphor and symbolism in dreams, so it makes sense to me that your dreaming mind will summon the language of immediate convenience rather your primary waking-life language.
