Thread: Willingly play music in LD's? Share please :)

As long as you know what the song sounds like, it's very possible to do this.

The only problem I see, however, is that this has been mentioned before as a potential reality check. I've never used it, so I can't speak from experience, but I'm quite confident someone else has.

Hm, it's interesting nonetheless. A potential RC, well, erm, I do not see how ;( Would music in a non-lucid dream be hard to understand and so on, like a text is, if then, it's a RC, but not a really reliable one.

Edit: I do not have any experience about music in LD either, just speculating

Yes I've done this several times and the results were amazing! Last summer I had the amazing oppurtunity to go to Islands of Adventure. Before you enter, there's a music loop that plays at the entrance. Hearing this always gets me really excited about going to the park.

Anyways, one night I had a dream that I was back at the park. I knew it just wouldn't be the same without hearing that melody. I wanted to hear the music so I willed the entrance music to play and sure enough note for note it began to sound. It was completely identical.

Yes... It was a try at a TOTY try that I gave up on and just decided to listen to some music.

Hmmm... Strange house. I am in a dream. Third tonight... i should try a task. Aladdin! i try to think if the task had me actually go to the cave of wonders. I dont think so, seems way too straight forward, lamp, wishes, first wish is for magic carpet. So... Find a lamp. I walk around the back of the building. I see a small piece of clay in the yard. I grab it and imagine it is the lamp and rub it, it doesn't transform or anything. Hmmm... I drop it and lean down. I start digging and reach a lamp broken in 3 parts. I pick it up and try imagining them together, but nothing happens. I close my eyes and imagine them molding together. I look in my hands and I have a lamp shaped like fat Buddha. One arm being the handle and the other the spout side (imagine "little tea pot") I rub the statue (kind of strange since people rub him). No genie comes out. I try closing my eyes and rubbing. When I open the lamp is gone. Grrr... Guess I'll try another time then. I look around and see a boom box. I play it with my mind (I think imagine dragons). I hear a voice before the music

It worked for every one but me, I will try again. The time I did try was I was in a concert performing with my favorite band, Odd Future if you know the name. And it was just me and a member Tyler and we performed his hit "sandwiches" and I was singing the correct lyrics but he was saying random things that don't rhyme. Thinking back on it now I'm pretty sure he said fuck the rich white people

Didn't intentionally try it, but whilst flying the Superman theme started playing in the background. It was fairly quiet. I imagine deliberately playing music would be relatively simple.

I may recall wrong but I think it was you who mentioned control chambers in LD's, in another thread. I've put some thought into it, If a phone could work as a control device aswell, any thoughts on this? In a way like spotify, instead of songs, certain tunes will do this or that, depending on your intention. Would that even be possible? I guess it would be, since your in a dream It's however worth a try, for me atleast.

I have used my phone a few times for teleporting and changing a few things around me, looked for dream goals, and found DCs.

I see you have senju (senju clan) and hashirama! Naruto is filled with LDing ideas! I have done rasengan and chidori, and tried to go into sage mode. It is pretty fun stuff. Nice to meet you! I hope you become a frequent here. not many people that i know make it really far in Naruto, especially manga.

Indeed it is, yes Naruto is full of ideas!

Going in to sage mode would be a treat, basically meditate and imagine you become one with nature and its energy.

Hm, a cool thing would be to either mimic Madara's jutsu he performs versus the shinobi army, the two boulders from the sky or summon a tailed beast.

I've watched all anime episodes on Naruto but I'm a bit slower on the manga

Once, I' flew into space and I observed planets and the sun. The beautiful conquering music has played in the background. Amazing experience!

Yep, was actually able to play music straight from my iTunes! clear as a bird's whistle lyric for lyric, even the songs I didn't think I had memorized.

Yes, maybe your brain even remembers songs that you've listened to once or twice Which is awesome!

Technically your mind has enough memory to remember everything that we ever see, hear, feel, smell, or taste (this is what I heard... I am fine with being wrong if someone has something to disprove me ).

So this is about listening to a specific, chosen piece of real life music?
I didn't try that, but I had a very beautiful dream, where a male DC was flirtatiously singing at me, and I liked it so much, I took over his body and sung onwards with his beautiful opera tenor voice myself then. But it was dream-born music.
And I really look forward to this month's music performance TOTM - hoping for some newly dreamed up fantastic music coming about!
