haha, I am not that good. There are lots way better, and lots at my level. I shall answer your questions though. Also, there is no very much "used", I use techniques for lucidity, constant vigilance!

1) I have hit a stand still for the 6 months that I blame on life circumstances I am currently working and studying, my wife is doing the same, and I have a kid and another one on the way. So other than this last month and a half I haven't been moving forward much. So to my current level about a year and a half. But I have been LDing for about 2 years.

2) supplements are the devil! I used to do this and still do a version of it when introducing anything new:
How to effectively Dream Journal
Here is a list of things that I do, my history, my random thoughts, and hypotheses about LDing

3) Everyone that I asked has said yes. I do not know, but up to this point I feel like it has been worth it. There are days that I don't feel like LDing is worth it, and even weeks, but when I try a new hobby I do research and if it seems like something that I will like I promise a year to the practice. I am about to start my third year and I will probably decide on another year.
