      Is your dream world stable?

Or does the scenery change constantly?

It depends on how lucid I am, it seems.

When I'm non-lucid, it just seems to follow a random story which can sometimes include sudden scene changes.

When I'm lucid (I've only been semi-lucid so far, though), it appears a little more stable, but on one occasion there was some chaotic scene jumping. Then again, I think that might have happened right after I lost lucidity again, so yeah, it appears my lucids are somewhat more stable than normal dreams.

When I’m in a none lucid dream the setting can change constantly without me noticing and can even trick me into thinking time has passed as well.

My lucid dreams tend to be much more stable, as in they usually stay in one physical location that I can move through naturally without changing, much like waking life. However if I am to look away and back again things in the scene may change.

Changing location in a lucid dream is one of my main dream goals as I tend to find myself unable to change the location I’m in to a new one. When I’m lucid and able to enter the void however things are much more abstract and locations can form in any direction in a much more fluid way.

So in summary my dream world varies and changes all the time as I suspect most peoples do. Lucids tend to feel more stable but that is probably because of my focus and awareness of the location I’m in.

To me, it makes sense that the environments of my dreams would change or alter even in small ways constantly, because in waking life the overall environmental context is fixed based on where I'm physically located, so the associated chain of thoughts while awake will vary around the environment I'm in and based on what else is happening in the environment (interactions, etc.).

This is only my hypothesis based on my own experience. In a way, because dreaming creates its own environmental contexts, it makes sense to me that thought processes beneath the threshold of conscious awareness can/do alter the dream itself without my conscious knowledge that it is about to happen; it would essentially be a self-perpetuating process and I'd say it can reflect how my conscious thoughts work while awake too, as it's very difficult for me to hold on to a specific thought for very long (more than a few minutes at best) without the use of specific memory aids or unless it is of great importance, but even then...

And as Tiktaalik said, I would also suspect most peoples' dreams will vary and change with some frequency.

In any case, my lucid dreams still follow the same logic of flow as non-lucids for the most part. I think the biggest difference between the two tends to be that my perception of the passage of time is a bit more "present" if I'm lucid.

My dream world is more like a 4th dimentinal space. I am able to travel from A to B and neither A nor B change except for perceptual linear changes kind of like being on drugs or the use of phocused will. It is like that world uses difrent laws of interaction that are more fluid but the underlying structure remains stable.
If I go from point A to point B then to point C I am not always able to go directly to point A from there but must first go threw point B. I am able to go to the point where A is but it would be A2 instead of the original Point A. Kind of like Marty from back to the future traveling threw time but instead a spatial interaction.
From dream to dream it is the same I can return to point A but going from point A to C must pass threw point B to reach the same C. Though linear changes may take place.

Non lucid dreams still efect the world though in a much more chaotic manner so from lucid to lucid A changes some. But it is not A2 because that is a difrent place entirely. Think a spiral. A2 being a point directly above and A and B and C in a triangle on a circle seen from above.
Wen you have more points it gets more complicated but you only have to find point C to get back to point A and not every point in a 10,000,000 point journey needs to be found. It is kind of like a room that can be acsesed by sevral doors but each one leads to a difrent room, and multiply the snario by every room in the house.
