What do you prefer? Remember your dreams or havinga ludid dream?

Non Lucid dreams are more credible for me. When I have lucid dreams I Know I am dreaming and it cause me to be less excited. My first lucid dreams were fabulous but now they are kind of boring. It is always the same sh....., flying, passing through a wall etc. Las night I rotated and the dream scene stayed the same.

What do I prefer...dreams where I have no control and are hardly vivid at all...or having rare ludid dreams that are *very* vivid and I can do anything I want to do? I'll take lucid dreams over boring normal dreams any day!!!!

I generally find my non-lucids are also far more interesting in general, but the WOW factor is still very strong when I get a nice mid-to-high level LD. I'm glad I don't have to choose between the two, but if I had to, I'd choose vivid non-lucids.

I make too much normal dream, and don't make a lot of lucid dream, so I choose Lucid-Dreams, because I love the sensation when you realize this is a dream and for more reasons.

If your lucids are like mine (rare, short, not vivid), then of course you prefer normals, I would do if I was given the option to always dream one or the other. But the thing is that if you master lucid dreamings, there's no way you may prefer normal ones. I'm not talking about not wanting to have another one ever, anyway.

Normal dreams can be interesting for knowing about your fears, interests, etc... sometimes movie-like things happen, other times just normal real-life things, even if they are a little twisted.

Anyway, if your lucids last enough time and are clear enough, there's no reason to get bored. You can do the task of the months, or even have your own personal task list, check it from time to time, and try acomplishing those objectives.

There could also be "wildcard" dreams you can choose, like entering a disco full of people with your favourite music and have some fun, or drive a car at full speed. But I find it interesting to have a list. Lets say, live the starting scene of "Saving private Ryan"... or go to a concert of your favourite group... take a walk on the moon, mars... put yourself in front of incoming trains, buses... even get naked in your neighbourwood or usual mall or shop, and walk around feeling that embarassment.... there are SO many things you can think and note down to try them, that you can never get bored.

Wish I could have lucids long and clear enough to even try this stuff

I like some of my NLD that are vivid and interesting but in the end i would always prefere a good aware lucid. i still have more then enough goals and ideas what i want to do and accomplish with my lucids.

the only limits in lucid dreams are your own imagination and when you have the feeling you´ve already did everything possible and are a master you might consider to expand your imagination. i think even after 1000 lucids it shouldnt be "always the same and boring stuff"... and when it is its kind of your own fault.

i would suggest you work out some cool goals during waking life, do a little daydeaming/visualization and maybe you look up some DJ´s from people with way more lucids to see what is possible and get some inspiration.

It really depends for me, but I think that on the awesome scale, a non lucid dream would go from 1-5 and a lucid dream would go from 1-10. So lucid dreams aren't always better, but usually better. An average lucid dream is equal to the best of non lucid dreams.
