I have discovered a new Reality Check?

So I'm not sure if this is already a thing but I've started doing a new reality check. I have been taking in where I am and asking how I got there, and the place before that, and maybe sometimes the place before that. I don't know if that is already a thing or not. Also, do you (anyone who is reading) think that this is reliable. I have been doing this because I notice that in dreams you just always appear in a random place ya know? It's like wait, how did I get here? Thanks for reading and may the DreamForce be with you

Personally I think that's one of the more reliable reality checks you could do. Because like you said you always just end up in a dream with no real discernible start. I've used it before for a little bit. I don't really use reality checks anymore, as most of my lucid dreams are WILD and DEILD.

Also, have you ever seen Inception? They talk about this in Inception haha.

It is definitely a thing, and I also think it is reliable, however, I don't do it myself. But there is no reason why one should not add this to the repertoire.

Electronics, appliances, phones, these thing kinda reality check me because they simply won't work correctly in a dream.

I'll probably start using WILD and DEILD after like five DILDS. Also thanks for the feedback Kraom and Highlife.

I've heard the idea floating around a few times. It may help sometimes, but be aware that dreams are good at creating rationalizations and false memories regarding where you are and what you're doing that can seem completely real despite being made up, sabotaging the RC. It's probably not a bad idea in itself, but I'd recommend not relying on it alone but to back it up with other non-memory-oriented RCs.
