Yeah, I've been doing this since way back. I find it helps, like having a chart of progress and motivation. It's the only reason I buy calendars now. Well, I like the photos too...
What I do is when it's a night with no lucid I just put a slash across the day to cross off the day. If I got lucid that night I circle the number of the day of the month. Then next to the circled date I write a little number that tells me the number of officially counted lucids I've had up to that date, for that year. For example: If I have my first lucid of the year on January 4th. I will circle the 4 on the calendar and write the number 1 next to it to let me know that I had my first (officially counted ) lucid of the year on the fourth of January.
Right now I just have a basic cheap calendar with mountain scenery. Up until this year, every year I was getting a new "Walking Dead" themed calendar. Because I have a thing for anything zombie apocalypse, and zombies are also a dreaming thing... But I've been in penny pinching mode and really didn't feel like spending ten bucks on a calendar this year, so just got a cheapy with pretty mountain scenery theme. (I like mountains and mountains are a dream thing too as dream scenery is unrivaled.)
