      Lucid Dreaming Calendars

So, as summer vacation nears, I'm ramping up my lucid dreaming practices. One of things I have read about recently is using a calendar on the wall next to your bed to chart your lucid progress (from Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self by Robert Waggoner). You can mark the days you successfully become lucid, and even pre-lucid events. The idea is to build motivation and positive energy as you see your progress. Taking this a bit further, I'm going to use a calendar that evokes the feelings of mystery and awe that dreams so often inspire.

So this thread is for posting pictures of your lucid dreaming calendar, and/or discussing the idea of using a lucid dreaming calendar.

Here's the one I just got. If you find any other cool ones, please share!

      OH! Sounds great.
If I had to choose an image in specific for a month, I would surely use this one for november.

Nice idea. I haven’t tried this but have always noted down my progress at the end of each month in my journal and it really does help with motivation and positivity.

Yeah, I've been doing this since way back. I find it helps, like having a chart of progress and motivation. It's the only reason I buy calendars now. Well, I like the photos too...

What I do is when it's a night with no lucid I just put a slash across the day to cross off the day. If I got lucid that night I circle the number of the day of the month. Then next to the circled date I write a little number that tells me the number of officially counted lucids I've had up to that date, for that year. For example: If I have my first lucid of the year on January 4th. I will circle the 4 on the calendar and write the number 1 next to it to let me know that I had my first (officially counted ) lucid of the year on the fourth of January.

Right now I just have a basic cheap calendar with mountain scenery. Up until this year, every year I was getting a new "Walking Dead" themed calendar. Because I have a thing for anything zombie apocalypse, and zombies are also a dreaming thing... But I've been in penny pinching mode and really didn't feel like spending ten bucks on a calendar this year, so just got a cheapy with pretty mountain scenery theme. (I like mountains and mountains are a dream thing too as dream scenery is unrivaled.)

Cool. Glad to hear it's working for you. I am also recording the # of dreams recalled (plus .5 for partials) to motivate building up my dream recall. So fun.
