Thread: Waking Up With Profound Statements That Came To You In Your Dreams.

I woke up a few time to fine that I'd allready written something in my sleep in my DJ. I don't recall anything of it but I have dream talked and walked around a few times before according to people. Not only did it have NOTHING to do with my dream. I wrote

"Potato ketchup with brocolli is the book of all trees" (think i meant tomato ketchup there?)
"All the lights in the world are drowned"

The last one was just a bunch of none exiting words unlike the words before

"Jist kung kokd nide dolp jdin hy nemduiks"

This happened to any one else? xXx

Always to me, not in a dream but when I wake up, so i try to write them down. I wil continue to post some of the statements here, feel free to do so as well

One from last night: Charcoal undermines the effects of a burger from Sicily

I had a dream where i was at a store with my brother looking for a video game called "Fruit Meet" I couldn't find it on the internet. anyone?

Last night I had no profound statements that I remember, but I did prove the existance of the soul. In a mouse.

Its been a while since I've written these on DV, but here is one of them from last night:

"The math of the universe can only be proven by flying into space"

In the dream I was looking for something to eat and I saw my friend grabbing some macaroni. I asked if it was in fact Macaroni and she said "I call it SCREW MAC". I laughed at the idea and kept repeating the word until I saw some cake and woke up.

Just a little off-topic, but has anyone heard of Dion McGregor? He's a classical somniloquist (sleeptalker) and he narrates his entire dreams. It's hilarious what he comes up with!

No, I haven't could you provide a link? Sounds interesting. Occassionaly I have a narrator say some weird shit in my dreams, but It almost never makes sense.

One that come to mind for one of my dreame is...

That was from monday. Otherwise no, no quotes that I can remember!

I quite often mumble junk while i'm sleeping according to my girlfriend. One that I thought was hilarious was " Stop talking to ronasal, you've been talking to ronasal again haven't you!?" lol don't know any ronasal but I like his name more than my boring 'dave' hehe.

Well people, its been a long time since I last posted in this thread but some things came to me last night. You know, when you're half asleep, have a revelation, and then ask yourself, "What the hell does it mean?" I get this alot, but last night I remembered a few.

Also I get strange images, not necessarily statements but meh.

-The brown pool's canned tomatoes
-paper bag pissssing on the street
-Won't you jollylog me?

I once got answers to my math homework in a dream

"The Z Numbers divided by themselves equal a number that can only be described as aleph-immense."

And, interestingly, if you google search Z Numbers, the first result that comes up says the only one is 0. Which works.

fascinating I tell you, "Aleph numbers" eh? I was hoping for some mind blowing dreams, with perhaps revelations, since I took B6 last night but those seem to come by chance. My mind is messed up enough as it is, However if you want some f-ed up dreams, take Zoloft, it did miracles for me, everyone can use some zoloft.

I find it very amusing though to listen to what your inner self has to tell you, even if it makes 0 sense.

An announcer type voice said "so just sit back and relax, open up a can of mushrooms, and watch the clouds!"
In the dream, I thought it was hilarious. When I woke up, I saw the connection of "mushroom" and "clouds" and thought that was interesting.

One from last night, didn't write it down but i remeber someone say it (or something either one)

"Juicy cabbage is my soal mate"
"All to the storage room" and
"Why try when you can fail"

Not quite sure what the dream was about really but it was pretty random from what i remember

I had a dream in which I was listening to a song, it had the most beautiful melody and a haunting chorus of "I will keep losing forever.", which repeated itself over and over until I woke up.

I was lazy though and didn't try to go transcribe the tune or write down the actual lyrics, so it was all lost except that chorus.

But while I was listening to it in the dream, I was on the verge of crying I was so emotionally moved by the combination of the words and music.

After reading through this thread, I became lucid last night. I decided to try to get an awesome quote out of my dad. I told him to make up a quote, because I was going to make a list of them. Unfortunately, my sister was encouraging him to say something stupid, so my dad's reply was, "Ummm... I'm hungry?"
