Thread: How did you find out about Lucid Dreaming?

For me, it was the "Human BOdy" documentiries on Discovery. What about you?

I am sure this has been asked before...

i was just looking online about dreams and i came upon this site.

While looking up Out-of-the-body experiences.

You know, I don't remember exactly, but I'm PRETTY sure I found out about them from doing online research/reading about dreams, back around 1995 or 1996.

AE forums, OOC Room, someone talked about being concious during dreams and controling them, went to read and get to know what it was called, got the term and thats it. Just wanted to know how it was called whatever I was doing for so long lol

I was watching a youtube video and someone mentioned lucid dreaming, and I googled it.

I was bored, and found this interesting.

I watched Paprika and was inspired to at least see if I could induce more vivid dreams and stumbled upon DV on google.

There was a dream thread on another forum I go to. Someone mentioned lucid dreams so I looked it up.

I have been having LDs since I was a child, but did not know what they were until I was 18. I started searching the internet on being conscious dreaming and then found the trem lucid dreaming and went from there Also I can't remember but I think I have read part of Stephen LaBerge's book.
