What are you more prone to - Wild, Dild, Other?

I did a search and couldn't find a topic like this but if there is then share a dream with me and kick me in the leg.

I simply want to know what style you are more prone to use? WILD, DILD, or other. If other please state what.

Personally I find DILD a lot harder than WILD but that is just me.

DILD is much easier for me. Without putting in effort, now that I've learned so much about lucid dreaming, I can still get a few spontaneous DILDs every so often, and this goes up drastically when I actually do put in effort. This never happens with WILD- I have only ever done it intentionally, and about 1/20 dreams is a WILD. Even with intent, only ~4.8% of my lucids were WILDs.

Keep in mind that 'WILD' and 'DILD' aren't techniques, but are types of lucid dreams. Either ones where you became lucid before the dream started, or after the dream started and was still going on.

True, they aren't techniques. You know what I mean though.

You should reword your poll, then. People will assume you don't know what you mean or that DILD and WILD are techniques. In some cases I think WILD can be considered a technique (in the sense of 'let your body fall asleep, keep mental consciousness), but you ought to specify and clarify.

Too lazy to WILD...I prefer MILD, which is technically a DILD.

DILD, even though my first induced was a WILD.

I can't WILD because I'm scared of SP still. xD Things are pretty vivid for me. I'm trying, though.
I always just become lucid in my dreams by myself, usually fully lucid, too. I rarely do RCs unless I am lucid and just want to try things out.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I am finding myself becoming lucid so much more often nowadays through DILD, and I don't even need to do reality checks; it's more the skepticism and the consciousness. I find WILDing takes too much effort for me to get far enough, but I would like to try it successfully nonetheless.

No matter how hard i try i still cant WILD. I have only experienced DILDs which is great as i dont waste time just trying to lay still and eventually giving up.

My first LD was a FILD, which is technically a WILD. Every other were DILDs, most of them WBTB. I just can't seem to get the trick of a WILD
LDs so far: 14 (WILDs: 3, DILDs: 11)

I am actually working on perfecting DILD now, as its a lot quicker to enter an LD than having to wait till 4AM.

I haven't had any, but WILD would be my first choice.

Yeah, I don't quite get the appeal of WILD dreams...seems like a lot more work in the long run. Why not just get used to RCing and/or getting into a DILD-inducing mindset, reducing the required effort in the long run? It's gotta beat getting up every time you want to have a lucid dream...

That is true, but honestly, wouldn't it be so much better to just lay in bed and WILD right away? I'm hoping that in the more advanced stages of WILDing, when I get better at it, that I can master this induction technique and have a Lucid Dream when I please.
