      DILDs or WILDs longer?

from personal experience? so DILDs or WILDs usually seem to last longer? and about how long do most WILDs usually last? im sure this may be answered in other threads but my searches didnt turn up much and i wasnt too sure what to search for.

Well, I think it depends on when you have the DILD, if you have it earlyish in the night it could go on a while. But with WILDS, you can just do it when you know you have plenty of time, so it can work better sometimes. A lot about times and distractions I believe.

Um it really depends. Both of the WILDs I had were quite short. I haven't had a lot of long DILDs but for me they are longer then WILDs.

Length of LDs depends on many factors. These are some of them:

      1. how long is the REM that you are in at the time
      2. did you get lucid at the beginning, middle, or the end of that REM
      3. are you excided
      4. did you successfully stabilize

I would say it does not matter DILD or WILD, dreams can last anywhere from a few seconds to years.
I had a dream just this morning that lasted a few minutes irl, but over 2 hours in my dream, and it was a WBTB/WILD(Okay, not a lucid, but you get the point..Whats the term for that? WINLD?)
I have had dreams that when I woke up they only seemed to last 5 minutes, but happened sometime through the night.
I have become quite interested on the layers of lucidity, and I use them to measure how lucid a dream is. For more information on these layers, click here.
