      WBTB Help?

I need help with my WBTBs. I always hear my alarm in the morning, however I just can't bring myself to getting out of bed. When I hear the alarm I'm so tired that I just think in my head "I can just WILD from here." or "I don't need to lucid dream now, I need to sleep." I always end up just falling asleep with no lucids. Even if I attempt to WILD straight from there. Suggestions?

WBTB doesn't necessarily mean get up and do something, it just means wake up. Whenever I would do a WBTB I would just wake up, lay there thinking of any dreams I may have remembered, and then write them down. If I don't remember any then I just lay there for a minute or two, not even getting out of bed. You don't have to get up, use the bathroom, etc. just wake up for a minute or two.

Hehe I know what you mean Soralaam1.

What I did to solve this problem was to place the alarmclock somewhere that would force me to get out of bed.
And if you are still really tired after this, just go to the bathroom and then back to bed.

Thank you so much for saying this! I've always been told (presumably by heavy sleepers) that you HAVE to get up & stay up for at least 30minutes. I'm a very light sleeper as well as a real morning person & the minute I wake up that's it for the day, even if it's 3.30am! I have to stay in bed & just open my eyes for a bit to ever have a chance of dropping off again.
