I agree that I didn't properly tell how I establish I'm awake. Step 6 should be step 1. I establish I'm awake by doing a reality check.
I know I can't control my subconcious. I'm just trying to encourage it to think a certain way based on what I think it thinks when I'm conciously thinking or not thinking certain thoughts . That being said, I've probably been thinking too much about it, am over my head trying to come up with a new method so early with little knowledge and should continue reading up on stuff from expert dreamers. I'm still going to try the method I posted though because I think it will work for me and it can't hurt.
