      Meditate to full body orgasm?

I don't really know how to explain this. A while ago, I was meditating. It was a while back, probably about a year. I was trying to WILD at the time. It was during the day, a few hours after waking up from the previous nights sleep. I was initially just trying to get myself into a deeply meditative trance, and I did. I was fully conscious, and so relaxed, yet mostly alert, with some slight flickering of consciousness. At some point, I became so in-line with myself, that I could at will, just, feel things.

There was one point where I was beginning to have hypnagogic imagery, but it wasn't like normal. Normally when I see it, I'm mostly asleep. This time, I was seeing in incredibly, but I was completely alert, just calm and motionless. After a few moments, I saw a hypnagogic sight that was meaningless to my conscious self, but it made me feel like I was in love immediately. It was just a colour or something, but I wanted to cry, I felt in love with it.

I felt the love as a physical sensation in my face, and at the time, I was big into OBE's, so I thought that it was qui, chi, or prana, or etheric energy, or whichever term you choose to use, and I remembered Robert Bruce saying that if your entire body is charged with this energy, OBE's are easier, and more powerful.

So I decided to make the feeling try to spread, because he says that the energy can feel like a tingling. I meditated on my chakras, and tried to stimulate them. I could feel them. Not like normal though, they were on FIRE with sensation.

Suddenly, I felt as though I was transitioning, but it was different. My whole body started to tingle immensely, and it just kept building and building. I remember a visualization popping into my head that I was slowly sinking into a beautiful warm bath, and that the water was massaging my skin, and then I sank through the bottom of the bath, and into a beautiful void of space, where I was floating in comfort.

I felt this insanely intense, and incredible feeling surge of energy, that felt like a stronger orgasm than I have ever had in my life, but it wasn't in a sexual way, at ALL. There was nothing arousing or sexual about it, but the sensation was of pleasure, and the most intense pleasure I've ever experienced; and I have orgasmed on ecstacy before. This was thousands of times more intense than that, and it was not sexual in any way.

What was this? How did I do that, and how can I do it again? I woke up very slowly out of it. I was not short of breath, or tired, or anything. to the contrary, I was energized, and felt that I could lift a damn car. It was the greatest physical sensation I have ever experienced. It was like as if a trillion tiny hands were massaging my entire body as I floated in the air.

I've never experienced this again, but I want to. Has anyone else had anything like this happen?

      -Rain

PS- Please do not make this thread about OBEs.

      what a great question.
something like that happened to me just this morning.
for a while i was burning hot and then had this energy rushing through me like a golden glowing buzzing.
amazingly pleasureable, and it went on for like hours.
this is not the first time for me... but when it does happen, i always want to know why so i can recreate it.
love to hear what others have to say.
i do actively practice chi gung (but not yesterday) and other meditation - do you?
one difference: i wouldn't call it a full body orgasm becuase i get those too. in my mind they are different.
      both are amazing.

      sounds like BLISS to me!

The closest I came to it was in a dream. In my dream my dream world was at war. With different species, to dinosaur to cat people killing each other left and right. We were literally driving each other extinct, and this whole war was just nonsense. Fed up I eventually cried "Oh my God end this!". It was just an expression really, I wasn't actually trying to talk to God.

But then in my dream a bright light descended down. The war immediately ended and I was filled with this incredible entire mental and bodily emotion - the best I can call it was Bliss. But at the time, while I abided in this light it had a name. But I could only know it's name while I was in it. Just to say it's name brought on the intense emotions. It was Love, it was Peace, it was Bliss, it was fulfilling - and you just wanted to stay this way forever.

My dream melted away and I woke up. But Bliss was still with me. And I remained on my bed being one with Bliss. And I imagined taking Bliss with me where I go, in every moment. But then, for some strange reason I decided that would be impossible. Because this feeling was so incredible and fullfillling I would never have a reason to leave my bed!! Believing I still needed to carry on my life, and that this Bliss would actually get in the way, I told Bliss - at that time I called it by it's real name - that it had to leave so I can continue living a human life.

It was gone! Instantly! The transition from one moment to the next was like someone dumping cold water on you. It was only because it was instantly gone that I knew the experience was real. And just in that moment, I forgot it's name. I couldn't even fathom or say it's name. I only had a inkling of what it's name meant and stood for. And the best I could even understand it's name is to divide it up into distinct english words, like love, peace and bliss. But it's name was neither of these and it was all of these simultaneously.

Of course I was pissed at myself for making this, what ever you want to call it go away!!

      Good story.

There are many variations of "sensational" experience during meditation.

I have experienced something similar to you, though it could be better described as "bliss" than what you are describing.

Basically I was just pure consciousness, and the natural state of that is peaceful bliss.

Now, the difference between our experience is that you made intentions from that state, you stimulated, visualised, the chakras, the bath and massage. You encouraged the energy process.

When one is pure consciousness ones intention is sharply focused. It means that every thought and intention can easily manifest, in sensations and pleasure for example.

Other than that there are some other interesting experiences I have had.

Once when I was caught in the mind awake - body asleep, my chest and heart started to vibrate intense, of course non-physical vibrations. It could be described as an orgasmic experience in the heart. Though not sexual.

A much more powerful experience, even than the pure consciousness state was being radiated with immense and pure love, joy and happiness.

In another category, a more physical one, though not really is a "Mind orgasm". In short it is similar to what you described, but not nearly as intense. These can happen in a waking state.

Hey, thanks for the responses everyone. I love hearing others' experiences with things like this.

Nope, I don't regularly meditate, though I've been meaning to, and I definitely don't do qi gong at all, even though I really really want to get into it. For me, this experience lasted only a few minutes, but it was sooo strong.

juroara, that story is amazing! That's a lot like how I felt! Coupled with the extremely intense physical sensations that I was experiencing all over my body, I too felt an overwhelming sense of joy and peace and just bliss. Wow, that's really interesting that you made it go away, and couldn't remember it after. I wonder then, what might happen if you meditated and told it you were ready for it to come back again?

Specialis, can you tell me more about pure consciousness? I'd like to know more about what that is, and how to become that, it sounds fascinating. I'm gonna check out that post right now! Thanks for the responses, everyone.

Interesting, I recommend you do a bit of research on Taoist sexual practice. There's a similar theme at work there. A large part of it is learning to channel sexual energy up through the spine to the brain, and keep it flowing as an ongoing process through the body during sex. There's no traditional ejaculatory orgasm (the Taoists believe that this wastes vital energy, and I've found western science confirming their beliefs), but a revitalizing orgasm of a higher mind. I got this to work for a bit once and man, it was something else.

I bring this up because it sounds like the same energy you're describing. I'm sure it can be controlled through meditation, it is in essence all chi. Sexual chi is just generally more powerful. If you want to learn more try to download the book The Multi-Orgasmic Man by Mantak Chia. Its an interesting read even if the actual practice doesn't appeal to you.

Did the body-orgasm sort of feel like the love that you felt earlier, except magnified and spread out through your entire body?

Yeah! Pretty much, but it was also very physical. I physically felt it. It was a combination of emotion and feeling that was so intense.

I've had this before while meditating. I mentioned it in a thread someone posted about feeling adrenaline sort of rushes from meditating. Though this thread sounds more similar to what I experienced.

It's what I imagine ecstasy (MDMA) to feel like. I couldn't handle it though and just collapsed on the floor lol

I might try it again though.

Dreaming Dragon - If you learn to meditate, I wouldn't advise strictly trying reach this state. The aim is to just relax and let all your thoughts go. Just let everything 'be'.

Either sit with your legs crossed or lie down on your back, arms beside you but not touching your body. Just have them going diagonally outward a bit if you understand what I'm saying.

Then just focus on your breathing. After a while you will feel really relaxed, you should then try to just 'be'. It's hard to explain but you should get it. Basically just let everything slip by your mind, don't get lost in your thoughts, just let them go.

Don't worry about your progress or anything, just meditate. You'll get deeper and deeper every time.

This sounds more like Kundalini rising (also called Kundalini awakening). I haven't had this experience (yet), though I know others who have, and their descriptions resemble yours.

My understanding is that it is evidence of high proficiency in meditation and controlling your mind-body state. You are able to release blockages in energy flow within your body through concentration and awareness. Awesome stuff!

I've never experienced anything remotely like this. But it sounds intense.

A few times though, while lost in thought about nothing in particular, I've felt a hand caressing my face and shoulders. I felt a surge of love but it always made me feel sad, lonely and utterly alone- as if I was a speck of unneeded/unwanted nothingness floating through a universe overflowing with love and affection.. but emotions that could never quite reach me. Despite feeling so alone, when it strikes, I try to hold on to the physical sensation. I feel the positive emotions as if an outsider, knowing it will never be ME, but craving the residual sensations none-the-less.
It's very hard to explain lol.
I couldn't think of a single thing that triggered the experiences.

I have experienced something similar to this in lucid dreaming when I was much younger. I didn't totally understand sexual pleasure, so it was a very different and unusual feeling to have. As I was dreaming, I just let my body gently float away and all I could feel was the powerful sensation run thoughout my entire body, and it felt as if it had lasted for hours. I did repeatedly have dreams like this but they varied in intensity quite often. My memories aren't every clear of this experience but I feel as if I can relate to what you are describing.

Hmm I think you are feeling your aura. It goes away because you desire sex. The desire for sex kills your aura. Or the desire for anything at all.

The aura, is an electromagnetic field, it is what makes you feel, but it is alive. If you desire food, it will create the pain of hunger for you so you can chase food. If you desire sex, it will create the pain of no sex, so you will chase sex.

But if you desire for nothing.. the aura becomes alive like it is an real being! The true purpose of your aura, is that it's your guide. But when you don't want to listen to your guide, and when you want to do your own thing, your own desires, you lose control over your aura. Which is pretty much the situation the entire planet is in and what we call "suffering", but this is not necesairy, all you need to understand is that pleasure has purpose.

Believe it or not, but the aura, is alive, intelligent, and it is your "soulmate". We have been disconnected from our soulmates.. that is why we all feel this deep sadness, deep down we realize and search for love, but we are being deluded thinking this love is actually "marriage" while it is our soulmate that we are missing, our aura, which is an intelligent being.

Imagine that you were an aura, how would you feel if you were ignored all the time, and your sole purpose in life would be the serve the person who you are the aura off? If you want your aura back, your soulmate, you need to give up on getting pleasure for pleasure. Pleasure has purpose. You can't have fun for fun.

So each time, you and your soulmate get back together, it feels so good, so extatic, that you want more more more! The moment you desire for more, you kill your soulmate again. Because desire is exactly the mechanism through which we communicate with our soulmates, our auras.

Looks like its been awhile since this thread went dead, nonetheless this is an interesting topic to say the least and it would be most appreciated if anyone had come about a technique of reproducing this experience through meditation.

Ive experienced the exact same sensations through the "spirit molecule". The intensity left me squirming on a sofa, crying with happiness while my entire body felt exactly as you described it. This had been reproduced at least twice.

I have had similar experience while dreaming and through WILD meditation, though none were as intense or lasted as long.

In the dream, which occurred shortly after meeting a girl who fascinated me and later became a lover, there were two smoke streams of different color, which represented our spirits to my consciousness, and as i would direct this smoke towards each other with dj equipment, i was literately "mixing" them, the smoke would interlace in certain places and this orgasmic feeling would come about in different parts of my body. The beautiful thing is that we were both Djs of psychedelic music at that time in real life. She did not have the same experience that night.

The other instance happened today as I left my body for an OBE and was washed away into an ocean, which seemed to "fill me up" and from within the waves stimulated me in a wonderful blissful way.

Good day. Strange, that I should stumble upon this today, after not being active on DV in many months. I feel as though I may be on the brink of figuring out how to willfully recreate those sensations- but I can't figure out if you have to "let" it happen, or consciously try to "make" it happen.

I've been using a specific meditation isochronic tones track from youtube every night. Sometimes I meditate to it, most of the time I just sleep to it. It's been about a week and a half of at least semi-regular use, and when I'm listening to it, that intensity of the physically feeling comes over the right side of my head and face. When I try to move it around as I did before, the feeling spreads only very slightly in my face, only on the right side, but the feeling intensifies greatly, until it's almost too much. Lately, I've also been experiencing the sensation completely at random times during my normal day in my right leg only. I feel that this may be related to the isochronic tones and present moment/awareness meditation that I've been doing.

Nice rainman. Sounds like you experienced cosmic consciousness energy/spiritual bliss. I experienced the same thing here: http://www.dreamviews.com/inner-sanc...ual-bliss.html

      Nice dream

I think it's possible to live with this bliss and carry it with you where-ever you go in the physical realm. I believe this is what "heaven on earth" is. It's the "inner realm of consciousness" eckhart tolle describes. It really feels like a whole other dimension and you literally feel "at home".

I've been in this state a fair amount of times in waking life without realizing it. I'm also still training my awareness to enter this state at will. Spacing out/Zoning out while remaining somewhat aware seems to be the key..it also increases your dream vividness a lot

The experience you guys are looking for requires focus of the mind which can be achieved through Vipassana Meditation. Absolutely fantastic technique that focuses on mind/body control...
