#1 - I was hanging out with my Dad, helping him install some software on his PC when he got really angry and threw the CD out the window. I jump out of the window and become partially lucid as I fly down to grab it and back up to the window. When he asks how I did that, I reply "It's a dream!" but soon enough slip back into non-lucidity.

#2 - Playing tennis with a group of friends when these monsters come in and overtake 2 of my friend's bodies. One is a toad monster which scared off all of my other friends by warping the face of my friend into a warty toad-like abomination. The other was a snake which had entered my friend's ear and was using his body to feed on victims, like a vampire snake or something. I managed to fend the toad monster off, but I had to cast a spell to pull the snake monster from my friend's ear, but then it proceeded to bite me repeatedly until I woke up from the pain.

Yep, non-lucid. Almost had a DEILD after it though, thanks to being shocked awake from the pain in the dream.

I dreamt that I woke up at my WBTB time to go to the bathroom. For some reason, I took my reading book to the bathroom with me and whilst in there was flicking through the pages. I was baffled as to how the text seemed to be repeated on all the pages, like the book was full up of the same single page. I didn't pay much attention to this because it started raining like mad outside and I heard my brother go into my bedroom to try and tell me about the mad rain that was coming down. When I came out of the bathroom, I see he's discovered my dream journal and starts freaking out, saying that I'm a lunatic for thinking I can control my dreams.

Really confused me because I wasn't sure if this actually happened. When I woke up and it wasn't a false awakening, it was actually raining like mad outside just like in my dream.

Had a really weird dream that I was taking some kind of pain relief injection in my spine throughout the day, with the side effect of me being completely green... And I slipped once with it and the needle went from the back of my neck into my throat..

      Everyone's dreams! Are just...

Anyway, I dreamed that DV was being sued. Apparently a renowned author of dreaming books had been working on a lucid dreaming book for decades (NOT LeBerge), and wanted to interview some staff from DV. I think I remember he had set up a an irc chat time for 8pm the following day or something. Then suddenly that evening, there was a panic, because me and 2 other staff members who were supposed to be in the interview, got PMs from this author, saying he was calling a last minute emergency meeting at 2am. I remember Danny was there, and I was freaking out. I asked him, "Don't we have to get up at 5am tomorrow for work?" And he said "No, no we're both off. And I have to stay up all night because I work a night shift tomorrow night anyway, so I'll stay up with you for this meeting." <3

Somehow, a guy I worked with at Whole Foods years ago, Chuck the candy maker, knew the reason for this last minute meeting, when no one else seemed to know. Chuck said that the author flipped out when he saw that on DV, we were using terms like DEILD and DILD etc, which he claimed he came up with. So since DV is now a profitable site, he felt he should be getting money for everytime someone used the term. And as a result, DV was being sued for it. I was like ffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu what do I do????

The first thing I thought of, was making sure what ever happened at this meeting, it got recorded. And now, magically, it wasn't and irc meeting but a real life one. I don't remember who the other staff members were, but I remember that I decided to bring my laptop, and I was going to log on to skype before the meeting, call RareCola, and have him listen in on the meeting and record it. Since I didn't have a lawyer at the moment, that was all I could think of to help cover our asses. Then it finally dawned on me to contact Alex. But I was having endless device failure with my laptop. Also, my son kept bugging me the whole time, disrupting my concentration.

Then it got extra weird. I said things to him that I would never say in real life. I told him if he was going to act like a dog, he needed to go outside and run around. So he did, but 2 minutes later, he was meowing at the door. Literally, meowing. So I went outside to lecture him. He was no longer 8 going on 9, he was magically 15 years old, tall, with dark wavy hair and glasses. He looked like RareCola lol. I told him that since he's 15, he could be spending his time learning to drive, running around town, having sex. O_O And he said "Mom, mom.. I'll do whatever you say just don't talk about sex." Then suddenly I thought it was weird that he was suddenly now the same age as Danny's daughter, who was currently in driver's ed. Then Chris started naming of all her friends that he's like to screw. Then his face started to morph and I woke up. Soooooooooo relieved that DV wasn't being sued

So one bizarre thing, Chris was meowing today in real life. And he's never done that before, usually he barks. And I didn't tell him about the dream at all.

^^ I just realized that was not a "snippet" so I infracted myself.

      THIS one is a snippet:

Quote Originally Posted by Basic TOTM
I looked around quickly, and on the end table next to the bed was what looked like my entire collection of nail polish bottles. I picked one up, willing it to turn into a potion bottle or something, but nothing happened. I thought to myself, "There's no way I'm drinking a bottle of nail polish, even in a dream." I wanted something better, so I was rummaging through the bottles, knocking some over, when I noticed one of the bottles was somewhat bigger than the normal nail polish sized. I picked it up and it was half-full of a liquid that looked just like listerine. Oh well, better than nail polish haha. I went to the mirror and looked at myself, I didn't look like myself at all, more like an extra tan version of a Kardashian sister. I took the lid off the bottle, and hoped my subconscious would make the contents into a potion, and not mouth wash, though I was doubtful. I took a swig, and the flavor was amazing! It tasted like minty white chocolate, and really smooth and creamy. More like, a melted white chocolate ganache. By far the best dream flavor I ever had, it seemed even more intense than a real life flavor, and that's never happened to me before with anything other than visions and sounds. I was hopeful, but still doubtful that it would do anything. Funny how I can be doubtful and it doesn't matter. I stared at my reflection, and I noticed a wound appear on the side of my nose, on my cheek, and on my chin, all on the left side of my face. They looked like little spots that had gotten really chapped and red, with flaky skin. Then something came out of them, and the best way I can describe this, is that it was kind of like an anti-tattoo. Instead of an ink-colored pattern, it was white, and it began to spread from each of the wounds, decorating my entire face. The design looked like tiny little white thorny vines, coiling around every square inch of my face, with little white roses, and white leaves, until my face was half tanned skin and half thorny vine tattoo.

I had a nonlucid where I was opening a restaurant with a friend of mine. I don't remember him having a name, but he was about my height, light colored hair, and from England. I was taking him on a tour through the facility that we bought for the restaurant. I even remember showing him the stackable racks, like the ones we use at work irl. Suddenly he stopped me, and put his arms on my shoulders and kissed me! Then he told me to look up, and I could see through this skylight in the roof, that there was a small plane, pulling one of those ad banners behind it. I thought at first it would be an ad for the restaurant, but instead it said "Lisa, will you marry me and be my wife." I just looked at him and was filled with the desire to say yes, so I said yes. There was some more stuff, but later I know we had a daughter. Her first word was "bebe", just like Chris.

I had a dream where I was wearing a wingsuit dress. Yep, a wingsuit that is a dress. It was like a floor-length dress with large flaps on the sleeves. I was gonna jump off a 2 storey building, but my dream self thought I was gonna die if I did, so I didn't.

I had sex with a member from DV that I kinda wish I hadn't. In my defense, it was a nonlucid. We're going to just call him Bob.
So Bob and I are in bed, and this seems normal for some reason. He pulls out a condom, and blows gently on it, you know, to get it how it's supposed to be or whatever I DON'T KNOW, you guys just always do that. He puts it on then we both get under the covers, and we're side-by-side. We start having sex in that position, and it actually feels really good. But after a little while, he fell asleep! So I said "Bob? BOB?" Yeah, he was asleep. So I just kept going lol. Then I got up and went to the bathroom (this was his place). I remember this little piece of wooden furniture in the bathroom with a fake plant on top, and rolls of toilet paper underneath it. I remember thinking that it looked kinda old, his mom must have purchased it at an antique store. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that this is his parent's house. Don't freak out, he's like 20 or something. Anyway, I got dressed but my pants were missing. So I said oh well, and went down stairs to make breakfast. I started frying some eggs, to put on a toasted english muffin with cheese. As I was cooking the eggs, Bob walks up behind me and puts his arms around my waist, and kisses the back of my neck. Then he notices what I'm making and says "Awwww, are you making McMuffins?" And I said "Yeaaaaaah." Disgusting, I know. Then I turned around and we made out for a bit. Then we had breakfast, and I got up from the table, and went behind him and did the same thing with the arms around the waist and kissing yaddayadda. In my dream he was about a head shorter than me, even though I know irl he's probably a head taller.
I never did find my pants.. but I found a little bile in my mouth when I woke up and realized who I had just had sexy time with. O_O

      Basic TOTM:

He wasn't going completely out, and I was running out of time. So I said I need to start cutting anyway, but he'd be just fine. I held him down with one hand, took the little pairing knife with the other, cringed, and made an incision in his belly. He groaned in pain and tried to sit up, but I pushed him back down. There was no blood. But I could immediately see the loop of intestine with the bandaid. Turned out it was kinda good that he was still conscious, because he was able to talk me through it a bit, and didn't seem to be in pain anymore. (I guess my subC is too squeamish.) I pulled out the little loop of intestine, and noticed the little microchip, which looked more like a tiny stone, sandwiched between 2 of the baindaids. He said just to remove the chip and leave the bandaid, so I did. I was just about to push the intestine back in and sew him back up, when Danny coughed irl and woke me up. Still success! I can't believe I could cut the guy, especially while he was conscious! Surgery went well overall I'd say though.

My friends and i were playing volleyball against some dudes I don't recognize. We used a snowball as the volleyball, which I personally waterbended to the right shape and tenderness. Everytime the ball went to our court, I would quickly expand the snowball a bit so it would be tender when we hit it. When the ball crosses over to the opponents' court, I would then contract the ball so it would be hard and painful for them to hit. Can't remember who won though.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Forgot to post this but I had really weird experience in a non-lucid last night, and it's frustrating me because I can't recall the most important fragments!

I was with a friend walking into a bar, I forget exactly why we were going there but I stopped outside of the bar and something was telling me that going into this bar was a bad idea. My friend drags me inside anyway and everything's pretty wild in here, people seem to all be on drugs or something but then... my recall becomes really fuzzy. This portion of the dream then repeats itself (without me once waking) about 4 or 5 times, until one time I stop outside of the bar, become pseudo-lucid and resolve that I'm being stupid and nothing can harm me, storm into the bar and order a drink which I gulp down and the dream continues for a bit in a haze (literally increasingly blurred vision with bad recall) until I fade back into waking life.

Sounds like my everyday waking life.

Just playing It does sound like you're rebelling against your subconscious there a bit. Like going into the bar anyway is analogous to achieving lucidity despite your subconscious' attempts at holding you back from it. I could be wrong about that but it's not likely.

I was walking around a town near were I live, without any shoes on... feeling embarrassed. Walked into a store with my friends and spoke to one of them telling him about a dream I had earlier that night because he was also in it. Was kind of strange when I woke up and thought about what happened.

#1 - More pseudo-lucidity last night. I was in a dream being chased by zombies when I decided I would try and set them on fire, so I flew up and raise my arms but nothing was happening. I flew down but was afraid to approach them incase they bit me and woke me up, although despite thinking this at no moment did I realise that I was actually dreaming. I walked up to one, tried to blast it away from me but it leaped at me and bit my hand, waking me up.

#2 - I was cooking a huge meal for my entire family, for some reason strawberries were a big part of this meal. I was making strawberry-infused cookies and roasting strawberries in the oven, which I'm sure would taste delicious... When dinner was ready, I thought to myself while inside of the dream "I really need to remember to focus more on awareness during hectic moments." the dream continued for a minute or so after this before I woke up.

Like a sailor on the sea, we lucid dreamers direct our perceptual awareness within the larger state of dreaming.

I had fled to this forest after my homeland had been destroyed by war, along with a bunch of other people. (This was an incredibly long dream, so I'm massively paraphrasing) After discovering that the destroyers of our home had invaded the forest in hopes of taking all its resources, we attacked. While we managed to wipe out one of their camps they had backup come and storm us, we fled, finding their escape route through reading their battle plans. There was something magical about this forest which allowed me to transform into this cat-like wolf thing and sprint at high speeds, although, I wasn't the only one who had discovered this. One of the attackers had found a way to increase the power of this transformation dramatically, they were this jet-black, sleek almost ferret-like creature, their eyes shimmered with every colour imaginable and they were much faster than me, chasing me through this forest. At night, the trees in this place came alive, their bark showed its "veins" and the leaves glimmered with light, different colours depending on the type of tree ranging from crystal white to deep blue and bright orange. I spent the entire night running from this ferret guy, and the next day I searched for help in fighting against these people, just as I had found help from other people at an old quarry, I woke up.

Good lord your dreams are fascinating. I saw the ferret creature you drew in the drawings thread. I'd LOVE to see what those trees looked like!

Last night I had a few weird non lucid fragments all over the place. The most memorable one was where I was in a forest (as well!), and I had befriended a big black wolf who could also talk. He basically protected me from the other, non sentient wolves who wanted to kill and eat me (I guess). At one point, me and the black wolf got into an argument about something (strangely, the something was a bit from another dream, which strangely felt like it was happening simultaneously, so the argument made no sense). Any way, then I could hear the other wolves coming, so I tried to stay near the black wolf, as close as possible. But I guess I pissed him off with the argument, so the last thing I saw was his tail as he slipped into a dense part of the forest. I could hear them coming, and I tried to scream. For a split second I was half aware of my body in my bed, with SP, trying to squeak out a dry, papery shout for help. Then I felt like wolves were eating me: not the pain, just a gentle tugging sensation, and my body moving slightly back and forth in the bed. There was no sound. Just the feeling of some things playing tug-o-war with my body but without the pain. And I wasn't scared anymore. Then I woke up thankfully.

Last night I had a non lucid where I was in a hospital bed, and there was a baby beside me. For some reason I felt very protective of her/him, and I kept checking if the side railing was lifted so s/he wouldn't fall. There was also a guy sleeping on the floor on the baby's side of the bed, whom I assume was the dad.

Holy crap! Could it be?! My third dream child?!?! I don't remember giving birth to it though, unlike the previous two dream children where I vividly recall pushing them out of my hooha and enduring the birth pains while delivering them. Hahaha!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Lmao paigey, my boyfriend was reading this over my shoulder. His interpretation was "Sounds to me like she wants to BREED"

I told him you were too young.

im in a car with my family, we see a letter, it gets closer, i start getting scared, last guy trys to get into the car where its safe, he cant get in!
its a scary dream but im not scared..strange..we drive off...explosion...i see a car in the air...i examine it closer...it looks like a cartoon...is this real?
then it happens...i scream IM DREAMING..rub my hands and try to stay calm...i get freaked out by the whole experience and have a false awakening

the lucid part lasted about 15 seconds but i finally did it
