Holy hell! Had a non lucid where I was pregnant (yet again). My tummy was huge and felt a bit heavy, and people were throwing rocks at it. I got hit plenty of times, and I could feel the baby inside kick. Wtf subconscious, srsly?! x) |

The best reason for having dreams is that in dreams no reasons are necessary.
No sailor controls the sea. Only a foolish sailor would say such a thing. Similarly, no lucid dreamer controls the dream.
Like a sailor on the sea, we lucid dreamers direct our perceptual awareness within the larger state of dreaming.
That's insanely cool. A very Dr. Who kind of enemy. Early new series kind of enemy, at least. |

Been having some good dreams lately. Last night I had a particularly exciting one involving a brawl in a darkened hallway. It's one of the more vivid dreams I've had in a while, so the diary must be helping somehow |
|
In the latest snippet of a dream I am pasting colored cottage cheese like substance to a wind chime of chop sticks. The cottage cheese like stuff is in colors of light green, red, blue, orange, yellow, etc. The chopsticks look like gold. |
|
In my other dream snippet for last night I am cleaning a claw foot bathtub, and my wife is waiting in the other room for me to finish cleaning the tub. |
|
That's awesome! And yes, dream journaling is kickass for improving several levels of dreaming skills. |
|
Had a dream where I lit an ancient lamp in a mall. When I blew it out, there was a lot of smoke so I ended up triggering the fire alarm. I ran, but security caught me. |

I lived in this strange dorm with a bunch of other people and then had dinner with this old guy, and this hooker kept following me around. |

Someone told me a Linoel Richie joke. Hilarious! |

Had a lucid this morning where I was in a glass house with white furniture and appliances. Everything was gigantic, and I had a feeling I was in the Giant's house from Jack and the Beanstalk. Got lucid, couldn't summon anything. I tried to summon a diary and pen for the advanced ToTM, but I had no powers. I saw a huge blackboard with a list of ingredients or something. I couldn't quite understand all the gibberish, but I got clues because there were cute childish drawings beside the words (carrots, broccoli, onions are what I remember). Decided to write down my waking life memory there instead. I wrote down with a piece of yellow chalk (which I had to kick a few times so a small chunk would fall off since the chalk was as big as my leg), "I turned off the tv at 2:00." which was clear in my mind, since I had just done it earlier. It was so hard to write. The letters didn't morph or disappear, but they were moving in a wave-like manner, which was disorientating when I had to look back to recheck. |

Hooray for scrap paper and giant chalkboards! |

Dream recall is returning now that I'm focusing on it! Pretty sadistic dream last night though, haha. |

I'm having a party at my house. A bunch of friends are over but the guest of honor is Ralph Macchio. I'm nervous to ask, but I propose that we all watch "Karate Kid". To my amazement, Ralph Macchio is totally down for this. I dig through this huge pile of VHS tapes and find that the "Karate Kid" tape has had its label scratched out and replaced with "Total Recall". I feel this enormous swell of sadness at the thought of breaking the bad news to everyone. Especially Ralph Macchio. |

Had some odd lucid "bits" early this morning. I slept horribly. I went to bed earlier than usual, not even 11pm. I woke up at around 2am or 3am I believe. I tossed and turned for ages. It was hot, and Danny snored alot. I don't remember how I became lucid, but I remember once I became lucid, it was really unstable visually. A DC became my anchor. He had these impossibly crystal blue eyes. As long as I stared into his eyes, the dream didn't get as spinny. He pulled me on top of him (spoiler...). I went blind, but I could still feel, and I knew I was still in the dream. I put my hand on his face, and I THUNK it like an idiot. I imagined he would be like the others and bite my hand. He did, and I had to use my other hand to pry his jaws open. I woke up, and then went back into the dream, but was non lucid for a moment. Then I became lucid again, and found myself in a similar room as before, but the guy wasn't there, only Austin, a man I work with in real life. I asked Austin if he "knew who 'Blue Eyes' was and where he went?" Austin stumbled over his words alot, and said that the information was in some office somewhere? I never found this information. I woke up again, and tried to go back to sleep because it was still dark and I knew I had to go to work in the morning irl. I felt some vibrations, so I tried to repeat that one seamless vibration transition I experienced a few nights ago. The first time was premature, and I opened my real eyes instead of my dream eyes. The 2nd time, I got to some really great HH of some cute baby puppies(?) trying to jump up on my bed. I reached down to pet them, but I think this time I waited too long to open my dream eyes, and I forgot. I don't remember anything after that, except for hours of hot, insomniac oblivion. |

I’m in a southwestern landscape, similar to the Arizona desert, surrounded by scrub brush. Mountains in the distance are purple-colored in the hazy air. I’m lucid, my awareness brought about by the odd desert location. |

I was Batman. I had a fight against this Joker kind of villian, he was very very hard to kill. I also saved lots of people from committing suicide. My other dream was a look a like Jay Z fined me £1,400 because a smoke grenade fired hundreds of paintballs at buildings. |

Finally talked to a DC in my lucid this morning. |
|
Jigga_Justin was in my dream (or nightmare?) last night. He was chasing me, yelling "Give me your iPad!!!". I said "or what?" and he said "or I rape you." |

`WURLMAN`
I was in an Olympic swimming competition, it wasn't a generic swim though, there were multiple routes you could take and small tunnels, water slides, etc. We set off and I started off pretty bad, behind loads of people. While everyone in front of me went to the right at the first junction, I went to the left through lots of small, winding dark tunnels. I was swimming as fast as I could and soon enough I was at the end. I had come 2nd winning a silver medal and I was ecstatic. I ran to inform my parents of this, who were waiting for the news in the parking lot for some reason. When I got to the elevator which lead down to the parking lot, I walked inside it but through the doors was a vast, desert landscape, I was amazed by this. For some reason I didn't think to reality check even though I thought it really odd, but I went ahead and pressed the ground floor button on the floating control panel. When I opened the elevator doors water came flooding through them and I quickly shut them. Apparently I had gone down so far I was now underwater and the scene around me in the elevator had mermaids and loads of fish swimming all around. I woke up whilst the elevator was rising back up out of the water. |
