Your Homework For Lesson I is to:

Start your own workbook thread in this subforum (here) DONE
Start a Dream Journal and record each dream. DONE
Record the times that you naturally go to bed and wake-up, and list it in your workbook.
ABOUT 1:30AM, THEN AWAKE 6:30AM, FALL BACK ASLEEP AND GET UP AT 10:30AM AND OFTEN NAP FOR AN HOUR AROUND 4:30PM UNTIL ABOUT 5:30PM/6PM

Do reality checks whenever you experience something weird throughout the day, and list it in your workbook.
Write a list for why you want to lucid dream (for motivation), and plan out what you want to do in your next lucid dream.
Establish a night-time routine (Include reading your dream journal, making sure to leave your DJ open to a blank page for quicker dictations). DONE

      Optional:
Start a DreamViews Dream Journal (here). DONE
Start posting snippets from your dreams in the Dream Snippets Thread to get feedback on your dreams!
Start practicing awareness from Lesson III
If you notice any recurring elements in your dream journal (aka dream signs), list it in your workbook. DONE

Welcome to the class, VividDreams! Good to have you here.

By "resume dreams" are you looking to resume dreams from previous nights, linking them together in a longer story arc? Or are you thinking something more along the lines of dream chaining (aka DEILD) where you wake up from a dream and try to immediately slip back into it? Either way, a very worthy skill to work on.

Sounds like you've hit some LDs before, which is good. How long ago were these? Did you use any particular technique to achieve them or were they more spontaneous?

Thankyou for your response CanisLucidus. Yes I mean continuing a dream from where it ended by going back into it. I have had some lucid dream experience which can be seen in my dream journal from October and earlier this month. They were quite spontaneous although I had been visiting here more and trying simple techniques like repeating to myself I will lucid dream like mantra. Also I tried visualising what I wanted to dream about and reminding myself I'll be dreaming soon when falling asleep.

      to the class!

What are some of the stuff you wanna do in lucids?

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

What I'd like to lucid dream

I'd like to be able to fly around the galaxy and see the planets closer and maybe even enter the atmospheres of the planets in our solar system. I quite like the idea of riding the rings of Saturn and have visualised this once before falling asleep.
Also I'd like to see through the eyes of a cat and maybe even shrink to a smaller size and ride on a cat like a horse!

      Homework For Lesson II

Study up on all of the induction techniques listed here and find one that suits you. Done, going to try DILD

Practice your chosen induction technique for at least 2 weeks (although longer is preferred) before changing it to something else or ruling out that it's not working. Will start tonight and keep a journal of my methods and experiences here, will use some of the methods listed in lesson one such as reading over dream journal and affirming I will lucid dream tonight

Continue to post all of your experiences, even failed ones, into your workbook. Will keep all posted in this thread

      Optional:
Discuss your chosen technique with the teachers by posting in your workbook. There are lots of ways to go about each technique, we will be able help you find a method that suits you! Will discuss more here any pointers & tips welcome

Choose a second (and possibly third) induction technique that compliments your first. For example, if you chose DILD you will also be able to perform WILD. Would like to try other technique such as WILD because feel it suits my lifestyle at present more (unemployed on sickness waiting for operation) & I often wake from dreams then fall back asleep & dream more

If possible, it is highly advised to include WBTB into your routine. If this is Wake back to bed then again this suits my current lifestyle

Hi guys just quick update on my lack of progress! I messaged Orphelia earlier so won't repeat here but will say I'm going to try and pick this up again with it being new year and all. I've been quite anxious about an upcoming operation I have next month & various things to do with my health etc have been taking up alot of my time & stopping me form being as active here as I'd like!
