Welcome to the class, Phased! |

About Me: I'm a weird kind of dreamer, I have had periods of consistent and vivid dreams (including Lucid's) but often experience long dry patches, mainly because I drift from the whole community and activity of Lucid Dreaming, which I am seeking to rectify in this latest stint. My preferred method of entry is WILD! |

Thanks, I hope it gets better soon as well, I had another dreamless night last night - >.< |
|
I did not remember any dreams last night either, I don't know what I am doing wrong, I drank a glass of water, set the intent of remembering my dreams ect. |
|
Don't worry, you're not really doing anything wrong. It takes a bit of time to improve dream recall, especially if you're only starting out. Remember that it's a whole new lifestyle you're trying to adapt to. Just keep your intentions and consider every attempt a step closer to a lucid. |

I wanna be a rockstar
And I wanna lucid dream
Guess I'll just start
By playing music in my dreams
Trust me man, I keep a dream journal, and write in it every morning, no matter if I remember a dream or not, I simply write how I slept and that I did not remember any dreams ect. |

I actually just meant to tell you about Masterminds dream recall technique which is a bit different. It helps me a lot when I do it before going to sleep. Sorry if it seemed like I thought you don't write DJ already. |

I finally recalled a dream! Really happy with myself |
|
And just woke 30 minutes ago, with another recalled dream! |
|
Great job! Keep em coming, and keep the attitude up, it really helps. |

I just took about a 3 week brake from concentrating and constantly trying to focus on my dreams, and I think I achieved lucidity! Really excited |
|
Niiice! What happened? And welcome back |

Update for May! |
|
Updated my post, going to give Lucid Dreaming a real crack now and stay with the community (instead of sticking around for a few months then vanishing..) keen to learn and to help out, let's see how we go! |
|
Made my first WILD attempt in a while last night, was going pretty well until I just suddenly jerked my legs and arms, it was really odd and I can't really explain it, anyone know why this may have happened? |
|
Hi! Seems like you have experienced a hypnic jerk - an involuntary body movement in the moment of falling asleep. These are usually random, though they may occur more often if one has a disrupted sleep schedule or has been sleep deprived. |
|
Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
Thank you so much! I've actually had a very poor sleep schedule as well as little amounts of sleep lately due to work, so that explains a lot. Thanks for the help Nyx, my sleep schedule should be back on track soon enough if I can convince my manager(s) to stop shuffeling me around so often |
