Hi :) Is this a lucid dream?

      Hi everyone,

Im Andy and I have been getting really interested in dreaming and the subconsciousness lately. I tried a thing the other day called 'iDoser.' It's a program that plays binerual beats. I think I found my first lucid dream using it .

I was laying there thinking that I wanted to be someone and I imagined I was looking down at the floor of this place and I just lifted up my head and I was there. I could walk about yet I could still feel myself laying in the bed.

Would this be a lucid dream? It lasted for about 30 minutes before I 'woke up.'

You said you could walk, move, ect in the dream. So it probably was.
You felt yourself lying in the bet becouse you weren't anchored in the dream, you were drifting from awake and asleep.

Hi Poppins, welcome to Dreamviews! Did you know you were dreaming, even if it was only a slight awareness? If so, you were lucid.

Note that having dream control doesn't necessarily make one lucid. And sometimes we act like we know we're dreaming, yet we don't actually know.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Exactly, sometimes when I am under attack in my dreams(non-lucid one) I do use telekinesis to get rid of them but without knowing I am in a dream...
      I know...What a dreamsign!!!

If you were aware of your body in bed, then you knew it was a dream, right? This sounds like the dreams I often get when I take certain supplements. They are very light dreams, and almost just feel like imagination. Sometimes I get stuck in this state all night. It is frustrating.

You can become lucid in any type of dream. It sounds like you were lucid in a very "light" dream. It counts as a lucid dream, but they get much better than that! They get much more vivid, realistic, and satisfying. Keep practicing, and I'm sure you'll have many more.
