Short answer: No. |

My username does not mean anything. It's not supposed to signal my religious preferences at all.
Dream Recall: Recall one dream each day for a week (meaning one DJ entry per day)[] Recall three dreams in one night (3 separate dreams in the DJ)[]
Becoming Lucid: Become lucid once[X] Become lucid at least four times in one week[] WILD[]
Dream Control: Fly[]
Of course not. |

I would guess that after 200 lucid dreams, your personality could have changed a bit. Wouldn't you agree? |

3 LD'S IN SEPTEMBER. 3 SO FAR!

-SUMMON A PERSON [x]
-CONTROL MAGIC [ ]
I didn't necessarily mean it would be altered in a negative way. Simply imagine the possibility that for example: seeing and talking to girls etc. in your dreams will make you less stifled in a real life social situation? |

That depends on the existing personality and mentality of the person. I suppose on some level it could be used as a way to build confidence, but if a person can't get past the fact that it is a dream and doesn't have to obey the laws of reality, it won't do much good at all. |

Unless you have underlying issues eg. the yearning to escape reality constantly through dreaming, LDing itself won't do anything harmful. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

This might not be what you were expecting in reply to that, Puffin, but do you think that's possible? To dream forever, or to make yourself believe you're dreaming forever? |
|
I don't believe it's possible to dream forever, but many people feel dreaming's an escape from their problems, even if they only do it for a few extra hours a day. I've felt that way at one point, too. If it wasn't frowned upon and depicted as a sign of depression, I'd definitely love to spend more time asleep and dreaming. But I can't, unfortunately. And besides, I have school and stuff. |

Why is it bad for you? Your body is doing it to itself basically. Its as natural as vegetables growing from the earths crust. |
