Hello. I'm Otis, i've never realy had a lucid dream but i have alot of repeating dreams and dreams with the same subjects so I thought i'd start researching dreams. I ended up finding this place and the information here is facinating. i hope to start practicing and have my first luchid dream by the end of the month. Also sorry for bad punctuations. I'm doing this from a cell phone with poor typing capabilities

      Hi Otis, welcome to Dreamviews!

What technique(s) are you thinking of trying out, if you've decided?
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Hey there! I'm also brand new to this site, also just recently learned about lucid dreaming and am hoping to begin having them soon. Good luck in achieving your desires!

well i was thinking MILD because as i said most of my dreams are the same. i have a massive list of things to remember and look for: my parents house, tornados or thunder storms that do not terrify me, talking animals, people from high school, not being able to scream, and so on. i have been precticing reality checks since this morning so that i can remember to be doing them throught the day or in my dreams.

Okay, awesome. Be sure to keep in mind that dream signs don't work unless you're aware enough to notice them in the first place. So, along with just doing a reality check, really question reality. You dream without stopping to consider the fact that you could be dreaming, so it's important to do this in real life... Just to get that awareness into your dream. Good luck!
