You're just going to get back into the rhythm of recording dreams and performing reality checks. It's not going to be easy, it's going to take practice and time before you start actively having lucid dreams again.

This is true! sometime it gets very hard to stay motivated.

But you know what? Some of my best dream were not even lucid... you can still enjoy theme. This helped me on my motivation level.

Also don't aim to high. every dream recall is a little victory.

If you religiously keep track of your dream in a dream journal you cannot fail. But write as many thing as you can in it, study it, understand it.

You need to work hard and be confident about your self ... every non-lucid dream you had is not a fail but a big step forward that will led you to lucid dreaming.

I suggest giving it a break maybe( some people actually go lucid when they take a break from it) . If not then try visualizing the dream out before you go to sleep, and tell yourself you will become lucid, you could maybe even question the whole sensation and ask what setting will i be in? who will be there? how will it smell? what will I feel? etc.
      good luck! keep the motivation!

Get really anal about keeping a dream journal and be as descriptive as you can.
Try not to think about how crap the next day will be once you wake up.
Set your alarm 10 minutes earlier than usual to give you some time to record your dreams if you're a busy person.
Try sleeping on a pillow that isn't your own.

Just a couple of simple suggestions but I hope you find something that works out for you!

Linkster, I remember you from the MILD classes back in August! I stopped trying until yesterday, so do you want to work together?

Also, having a positive mindset works. I told myself as I fell asleep that I will remember my dreams, and I did. This never worked for me, but for some reason it did.

The dream Journal was a great suggestion and you should take bored2tears up on his offer.. getting lucid sometimes works best when working on it with someone else

Dream journaling is essential. You could also try meditating or just doing something that relieves stress and clears your mind before you go to sleep. Another thing that works is believing that you will have a lucid dream. I started telling myself that I would have a LD and doing WBTB. Have had 15 LD in the past 5 days since I started putting in a serious effort(this is after a 3 month dryspell, and about 6 months since I had more than one a week), but I'm rather ocd about things when I decide I'm gonna do them. The more effort and thought you put in the more likely you will have one.

You can do it, just believe that you can.
157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.
