      Smile Tools for Lucid dreams

Hello there - another noob questiong from my side:
I have been reading some lately and asked a few people now and then. I would like to know what methods you guys are using to get a better chance at getting a LD. When im talking about methods i dont mean like DILD, WILD, MILD etc but if you use some sort of special music, drink something special before going to bed (Like aplle juice) etc

      Cheers from Dreambird

Most of the foods and drinks you see people talking about for lucid dreaming is to make the dreams more vivid. Like apple juice, it just helps the vividness of your dreams. There's not too much to help lucidity other than awareness. Music and subliminal messages CAN work, but I don't think they're 100%. I suggest to just try to increase your awareness. Good luck!

      WHAT HE SAID ^ ^ ^

But there are also machines (eg light sound machines) out there that claim to induce lucid dreams. I haven't tried them, but you could buy one or make one (which is cheaper) using LEDs. Raven Knight made a thread about this, you might want to check it out

Apple juice works to help increase dream vividness, and so does vitamin B6. While it's not directly tied to lucidity, which like KushyBear said is mainly about awareness, it can allow you to see more details of the dream.

The store-bought ones can get pretty expensive, and if you haven't trained yourself to be aware and conscious if something is wierd or strange, you'll just see a light in the dream and ignore it. So I wouldn't recommend getting one unless you have money to burn, or yeah, you can try making your own.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

About the applejuice and vivid dreams. I tried to drink some AJ before going to bet - yet i had no dream recall at all. Might just be a random quincidese there. Gonna try that out again even though it isnt tied to lucid dreams

tried a subliminal mp3 last night, but that just distracted me and made me lose focus - crappy dream recall as a result. I'm just trying to increase my focus now and imagine things as clear as possible before sleep.
