If I can ask it would be interesting to know if you developed any kind of mental attitude or ritual or technique that helped you increasing the frequency of lucid dreams. Being a newbie my first goal is to have more dreams to get familiar with myself and later on to develop abilities, even if I was surprised by the things I managed to do in my first LD.

I'm aggressively determined. I don't view it as a entertainment ever. I really just want answers and if I had to cut off one of my own limbs to get them that's what I'd do. It's always seemed really odd to me that these other states exist and aren't talked about or are seen as either mystical or as some malfunction of the brain with virtually no rational middle-ground. where are the real answers?
I mean it's not just LD & OBE/AP there is another state after that, and probably another one after THAT. it looks like a chain to me. Nobody talks about that seriously, and it's an elephant in the room so to speak. How could you not wonder where it leads or why it's there?
IDK, I can't relate to not NEEDING those answers, so at the end of the day the attitude I have developed I guess is kind of "kamikaze". 
I guess I ranted a little there but it probably answers your question too .
