lol i feel like a total bad a$$

i found this website on Friday April 15, 2011. since then i have thought very hard about all of this and decided that this could be the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. last night i tried my first time, EVER, and nearly had a lucid dream, i got very deep, down to a point to where sleep paralysis had taken hold, i had been thinking, and my thoughts were starting to wander, eventually i remembered what i was doing/trying to do. this is when i had been the deepest, and i wasnt able to go this deep again, due to the fact that when i had realized it the first time, my heart started beating extremely fast, idk whether i was excited or scared, but i kept trying and couldnt go that deep or deeper.

      any tips? questions? comments?

also idk if this helps but i had been up since 6 yesterday morning and started trying at like 12:30 this morning, could me having been so tired have affected that i was able to get as far as i did the first time?

      edit:
oh yea i forgot to mention 2 somethings. for some reason i didnt have any dreams last night? was it because i was so tired that my body just wanted rest? or just a random happening? also i was listening to a Delta Binural beats that had found somewhere on here, i knew that delta was for the deepest sleep (i think lol) and i was mainly just gonna go to bed, but then i decided to try to have a lucid dream.

Theta Binaural beats are the most helpful for lucid dreaming. you dream every night, but you forget very easily because of the dream not being vivid or whatnot.

For your WILD attempt, you can always try again. Almost no one gets it on their first try

EDIT: swearing is allowed on dreamviews... we coo like dat!

How long did you sleep when you didn't dream anything? Even if we sleep 8+ hours, sometimes recalling something can be hard. But the REM rebound should kick in if you sleep for atleast 6 and you should have longer REM periods after that. Excitement is always there in the beginning. It gets better with time, so just relax and know it will pass in time

In the future you should say which method you were using. I had no fucking idea what you were talking about lol
You couldn't do it because you hadn't slept enough. REM periods come in.... periods, or waves.

That is why most people WILD after they've slept for 4 -5 hours.
