Welcome to dreamviews Tyler ^_^ |

Hello, I'm Tyler. I have no recollection of ever having a lucid dream, but I've been obsessed on the topic for awhile. My first attempt at a WILD was rather frightening, as I wasn't prepared. I experienced SP for the first time and I didn't know what to expect. I fought it and eventually was able to turn on my side. I had it again a few mornings ago, except it was after a dream I had. I didn't want to go through with it, so I fought it again. |

Welcome to dreamviews. WILDs can be tricky to attain at fist. Just don't give up! |

Don't resist sleep paralysis, silly boy. Welcome to the forum. |

Welcome to DV my friend. I suggest you don't "fight" SPs because they're like the gates of lucid dreaming. Once you experience SP, don't be afraid and just try to be relaxed and calm. Always think that you're "almost there" when you experience SP. Hope this helps |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Thanks for the advice! I went to bed at 12 and woke up at 6. I just couldn't get the right mindset. I was over-excited like it was Christmas morning. I guess I just need practice. I don't remember any dreams last night, either. I'll start a dream journal once I start having dreams to write about :-) I'll let you know if I have any questions. |
