My First time lucid dreaming by using tactics I've learnt

Last night I had my first LD by using DILD. Belive it or not i only started yesterday. I had three dreams I only realised i was dreaming in one by making a reality check. What I did in the dreams where bassicly nothing I still have to practice that part, but I nearlly had a second lucid but I didn't let the dream create itself before making a reality check.

That's not totally unusual, a lot of people get their first lucid dream the day they learned about it (I didn't but still

)
Also, you don't have to perform a reality check in order for it to become lucid. Simply knowing it's a dream makes it lucid.

Nice!!! I started probably a week and a half ago, and the night I started I did a reality check in a dream! For some reason I didn't really get lucid though.....

I got mine the first day too! But it's different for everyone, so even though getting one the first day of practicing induction methods might be less common, it still happens! Congrats on your lucid and here's to many more to come.
