      Could read in my dream

I had a regular dream where a teacher was passing out papers, I read the entire page and nothing changed in the page

I merged your two posts; from now on try to use the "Edit Post" feature to avoid double-posting.

I've had quite a few dreams where I could read text too, namely one lucid where I spelled something out in a sandbox using a stick. I read it properly in the dream and knew for sure that the spelling and order of the letters was correct when I woke up.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      Um, yay. Heh, very nice.

It always gets me when people claim things like, "You can't read in your dreams", "Electricity doesn't work in dreams", and things of the like. Honestly, I don't even understand how these 'facts' are created as such, but goes to show that they aren't set in stone.

What people want to mean, is that letters and other symbols of small dimension are highly unstable as dream content. Naturally, this is true, but doesn't mean you can't read properly in a dream, it's mostly a placebo effect.

It's like counting the number of black strips a zebra has I would assume. It possible, but you can realize how easy it would be to find that it's "impossible" in a dream, due the complexity of the picture in terms of dimension, pattern, etc

Yeah, I usually can read in dreams, sometimes you can't at all though xD

Yeah this happened to me. I wrote an entire essay about... i think it was something about a book? Anyways, i read the entire essay, then the teacher gave the rubrics and she wrote a comment saying like look at the grammar mistakes. So i reread it and it was almost the same, but there were no grammar mistakes.

P.S: i never ever ever make grammar mistakes on essays. They piss me off SO much! Same with spelling, if im editing something and theres a spelling mistake, i go into this rage mode and preach about that misspelled word, then i stop editing it because im to mad :/. Its weird because thats the point of editing ://

Its the only thing useless dumb that makes me mad. But if its on forums im like eh. And now i just realized that i rambled a lot

Same. I'm such a stickler for grammar that if someone asks me to read over their paper just to see if the writing makes sense, I'll correct every improper contraction and spelling mistake imaginable.

Your post reminded me of a dream I had where my teacher gave me back a paper and told me I failed it because my grammar was terrible.

I've never had much trouble reading text in my dreams - it's just one of those things that is common, especially when the dream is unstable. It does work as an RC though, as long as you have the intent for the text to be different - it will

The only thing I've ever had appear messed up are digital clocks - and that's because I use them to RC!

Reading in dreams is usually very difficult. That's why it's a good RC to read the same thing twice. I can read in dreams but I rarely remember much of what I read.
