Question Which Body Am I Controlling?

Ok so I had a fairly strong first experience 2 nights ago. I had almost entered my first LD, a WILD attempt. it went ok, i wasnt able to stabalize and i lost it shortly after creation.

But before losing the dream, i was aware that i was dreaming, and i wanted to try moving and speaking. but i was aware of both my dream body and physical body. This made me nervous to attempt moving or speaking because i felt like if i tried to move, it might move my real body and take me out of the dream. its ironic that these thoughts are ultimately what made me lose the dream

so what should i have done? how can i be sure if i'm completely through my sleep paralysis? I felt many symptoms of SP (vibrations all over my body, voices, and noises) but i didnt want to ruin my potential first LD.

      Any suggestions??

If you are that far into the dream then you don't have to worry about moving your real body. Just go on with the dream and forget about your body. If you do start feeling your body, fight to stay in the dream or atleast keep from waking up all the way. If you maintain your focus and succed you will find yourself back in the dream momentarilly.

You need to forget about the physical body and think about the dream body. If you do think about your physical body too much, you will start feeling the sensations of lying in bed, or the blankets. If you were fully in the dream, up and moving, you need to remember that if you are standing up in your dream, your physical body is paralyzed and will not move when you move the dream body, otherwise you would just wake up/sleepwalk. If you do think about the physical body and start to feel the dream slipping, concentrate on staying completely still when you do wake up and if your lucky, you will wake up into the SP sensations and be able to try again (AKA DEILD)
