Hi guys!
Hows it going?
Im new here. My name is Boggie, 26 years old guy from romania, and Im really excited to learn this skill. I want to learn it to get to know what might be “under the surface”, analyzing the dreams, and also for the excitement of discovering a “new” world. To experience something that sounds so absurd and unrealistic that I cant image how that would be or feel, I just cant grap it with common sense.
Ok, as you may expect I have a lot of questions.
1. “Almost all lucid dreams start during or from a non-lucid dream: you suddenly recognize a dream-like feature and there you are, lucid.”
Is the goal to be conscious during the whole dream to look for dream signs?
2. “Imagine yourself lucid in the environment. the important part is visualising yourself becoming lucid. I believe visualization is the key to LD's. I urge all who want to attempt a lucid dream to try visualization. ”
How should I visualize if I don’t know what im visualizing about?
3. The first page I visited was lucidipedia about WBTB.
I thought I would start out with WBTB since there seems to be most info and step by step guide there about Lucid dreaming. But I wanted to post here to get a bigger perspective on different techniques.
To start with. The guy says that the longer you sleep the better. And then he says to set the alarm for 4.5h of sleep time. I don’t get it? Should I only sleep so little and then go up out of bed for 30-90 min? In his video he says that he woke up after 9h.
Then I have the next problem, when I wake up, usually I cant fall asleep again.
4. How should I wake up without moving or thinking about anything when I have to move to turn of my alarmclock that really chocks my out of my sleep/dream.
5. Then to MILD. Cant it be combined with WBTB? Wouldn’t that be better to combine the two of them?
6. “Believe that, in only a few minutes, you will soon be dreaming again, and imagine yourself knowing it's a dream, doing whatever you want.”
Don’t I have to wait to the last few hours when Im in REM sleep to be able to dream?
