So lately I've been having dreams where I recognize something out of the ordinary (flying, doing my animal movement thing from the other thread) and then do a reality check or just assume I'm dreaming. |

I'm having similar problems. The times I've successfully prolonged my stay is AS SOON as I realize I'm dreaming, I look at the floor. That has been very helpful in stabilizing me. You can also try rubbing your hands... another good way to stay in the dream. |

As you are reality checking, do something to anchor yourself in the dream. Touch things, talk to people, look intently at your surroundings. You want to lock your attention on the dream. |

I too realized I was dreaming today for the first time. However, I was not lucid really. I did not see myself in the dream so I didn't really walk around or anything and it lasted for like a second or so I guess. |
