      Sharing a dream

Hi every1. Jst found ths site while searching for an answer as to what hapend to me a night ago. I slept ova at my friend's shared her bed and i think i shared or rather peeked into her dream. It was surreal coz immediately i knew smthn out of the norm had happend and couldn't go back to sleep, i felt hot and uncormfortable. She on the other hand, funny enough, just groand and rolled over(this is just when i'd startled awake). Anyway after several minutes of tossin n turning and tryn to cool down i dozed off. Now here is the cuckoo part. The nxt morning without even prompting her, she starts talkn bout her dream and i even remember more details than she. Even stranger is the feeling, that i'v peeked into dreams before, because when i was little i'd wake up in the middle of the night and feel like something was crowding in trying to invade my thoughts and that hot uncormfy feeling like a fever. It usualy happend when i shared a bed which was often when i was a child bt also sharing the room would cause this but a bit less often. It went away when i hit puberty. Last nyt bt 1 is the only time i've been able to recall such an episode and also the 1st tym i'v had it since i turned 12. Has any1 had such an incident and can i learn to control sharing a dream. Its kind of cool bt also a bit intrusive and i h8 the time it takes to fall bak 2 sleep.

      Welcome to the forum!

There is a lot of talk here about Dream-Sharing though it remains a topic of uncertainty. Some say they can, others have difficulty with the concept. I think you have to make the judgement for yourself on how well it works.

Still, there are a lot of people who try to make it happen so you're in good company. Check out Beyond Dreaming for more info and people who are trying/experienced.

Plenty more here to look at that might help you with your efforts with lucid dreaming. Take a look around and feel free to ask questions!

      Pleasant dreams!
