      Wink Hello Fellow Dreamers!

I'm new to the site and just wanted to introduce myself.

      Call me Hinch.

I've been Lucid Dreaming for a little over a year now. I've had many different experiences, but I've mainly been flying solo. I've been searching for an active forum about lucid dreaming, but they seem to have all disappeared or are just archives. So luckily I've found this one!

I usually use the MILD technique with WBTB, and I have set up a few dream signals when Lucid. I also use a program called Lightened Dream that helps with logging dreams.

I'm pretty knowledgeable on the subject, so if anyone has any questions or anything feel free to message me.

      So yeah, Hi!

      Hey Hinch!

You're in luck, we're a very active community, and we're happy you joined us

I'm really curious, how does this dream logger app work? And is there any way we can get it?

Feel free to ask questions or share your ideas!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

If you google Lightened Dream, it is the first link. I would link it, but I have to be a member for seven days first.

It allows you to record all of your dreams, and it categorizes them based on characters, locations, objects, actions, themes, and emotions. It allows you to create your own REM cycles and edit times of random reality checks, subliminal messages, and sound files (so it can also be used as an alarm clock with a multitude of functions.) It has a built in AI character which prompts reality checks while using your computer, such as flying across the screen, asking if you're dreaming, and performing other actions. It allows you to create recordings, and it even reads your entries back to you at a relaxed pace. It has exercises to increase lucidity also (I usually do one a day.) You can even create your own exercises.

It's probably one of the most useful programs I own.

Also thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Thanks! I might use it one of these days, if I get a decent computer (I'm mostly on ipad and the program is only for PC)

Aw, shucks, thanks bro. And welcome to DreamViews!

As a lucid dreamer living in Orlando, do you always do a reality check when you pass the upside-down building? That thing is epic!

Welcome to Dream Views! This is the place to be for anyone wanting to learn how to lucid dream. The Dream guide team is here to help you navigate the forum and answer questions. We all have 3 green stars above our avatar. Click on our user name and you can then select private massage if you have a question, or you can start new threads. Don't worry about starting threads that have been started before, just try it out, if it ends up in the wrong place one of us can move it for you.
Also be sure to check out the DVA Dream Views Acadamy, click on this link to get there, DV Academy. Matte , our Dream Guide team leader runs a general lucid dreaming class, and you can join in contests where you gain points for dreams you have. Gab , another Dream Guide runs a class that is very valuable to beginners on MILD/DILD, which is by far the best method to start with.

The very first thing you should do is check out basic tutorials. This one covers most of the terms you will see members using, so start here, http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/

Have fun and good luck with your dreaming!
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.
